huge container, i popped 1 cup of kernels in the popcorn maker last night, it popped all but 3 kernels! corn was fluffy and tasty, can't complain, I'm happy with the quality of this purchase and will order again when supply is depleted! great job from one popcorn fan to another

Year after year, I search online for 100% mushroom popcorn kernels and every single purchase is NEVER what it claims to be. Why do sellers ALWAYS mix in butterfly kernels? This $12.99 bottle is by far the worst qualities I’ve ever bought. There’s barely any mushroom popcorn at all. Plus, there’s so much waste than average. If you’re wondering, I pop over the stove in a Lindy’s pot by initially warming up the kernels in oil for at least 30-60 seconds, then turn up the heat to high and let it pop while cranking the handle, and finally turning off the heat when the popping slows down. Immediately empty hot and freshly popped popcorn into an extra large stainless steel mixing bowl while quickly tossing in finely ground sea salt and gently massaging out the hulls and unpopped kernels so they fall to the bottom. Toss repeatedly until most of the hulls and undesirable pieces are removed. I popped half of the bottle which is equal to 2 measuring cups. The yield was poor, but with plentiful waste. This brand is a definite thumbs down pass!

I've been buying mushroom popcorn kernels for several years now. I decided to try this brand because the package was just 2# instead of the 4# or 6# I usually buy. It tastes good and popped up nice, but it's more just large popcorn kernels and not so much like the big "puff" you get with other "mushroom popcorn".

They have mixed mushroom kernels with regular kernels. If I wanted regular popcorn, I would buy regular popcorn. I wanted mushroom popcorn. It otherwise tastes fine.

Very good popcorn about 80% mushroom, but I think it's the popping method I used.My first batch of popcorn was disappointing, I used the standard 1/4 cup measure (Jolly Time), and it not only popped slowly but was about full when done, and mostly butterfly-looking kernels.I realized that because of the size of the popcorn kernels I needed more, so instead of 1/4 cup I upped the amount to 1/3rd cup and everything worked better. The batch fully popped in 3 minutes, 80%+ mushroom kernels. The popping was much more energetic and the corn was light and fluffy. I think this could have been the steam captured under the lid once the corn started to pop. As you can see in the pictures I screen my popped corn to remove unpopped kernels, in a 1/3rd cup there were only about 25 unpopped kernels in the batch, and surprisingly to me, there were quite a few hulls that fell off the corn after it popped.I'm satisfied.

Hello. I am very disappointed with this Mashroom Kernels, if not 30% of the batch do not either pop, half popped or stayed harder to pop. I was expecting lick it stated. They have mixed kind in a jar ( some mashroom and some butterfly ) that’s what I noticed after popping two batches. I won’t buy them. Thank You

It popped up great in my air popper. It's much better for caramel corn than standard popcorn. The large kernels hold a lot of caramel coating.

Este producto lo use para consumoPersonal y consideró que no fue lo que esperaba ya que al alaborarlas es mucha la cáscarita, anaranjada, que queda en la Paloma y te pega al paladar y se mete mucho entre los dientes.Pero he de decir que muy sabrosas.
Fatal, llego abierto
No me atrevo a probarlo, venía totalmente regado en la bolsa, a pesar de tener una tapa de rosca. No me da confianza el motivo por el cual venia abierto, mi duda es cómo se abrió o qué fue lo qué pasó, nada me garantiza quien lo manipulo? Tenía mucha ilusión de prepararlas.

La botella no sella bien y causa humedad
Las palomas cumplen lo que prometen, pero el envase es de plástico cuya tapa no sella correctamente. En menos de 2 meses las palomitas tenían hongos a consecuencia de haberse filtrado la humedad. Tuve que tirarlas y no son baratas.
