5.0 out of 5 stars Helping my hair grow and stay healthy
I used their argan oil shampoo and conditioner for a few months and loved it but I know through testing and all that my body is missing collagen. It’s doesn’t make enough and taking in orally hasn’t helped my hair or skin. So I started getting products with collagen in it and it’s made such a big difference. My hair is looking so much better and is growing faster again.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good product.
The shampoo alone is good, a little watery, but for short hair you need not much and it leaves the hair soft, silky and really shiny. I like the shiny part best. You can't go wrong with the conditioner👍
4.0 out of 5 stars Good shampoo and conditioner
I like this shampoo and conditioner set. My hair is really oily and nothing I tried has been working for me. This does the trick only problem is that sometimes I feel it dries my hair a bit too much but beats oily hair. Smells good too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Your scalp will thank you
Y’all, I have been using this shampoo set for almost a year now, and it’s been nothing but amazing. To preface, I have fine strands but medium hair density, low porosity, wavy 2a/2b, frizz and build-up prone hair. Prior to getting this shampoo, I had been experiencing some hair loss and I noticed my hair density had changed quite drastically. I certainly wasn’t “bald”, but it was the “thinnest” it had ever been, especially at the temples/hair line. It started with a horrible reaction to the hair products I had been using for years prior (ahem, OGX lawsuit…), which snowballed into developing folliculitis, terrible scalp buildup, FIRST EVER flare of seborrheic dermatitis at the nape of my neck/scalp, and just overall awful hair. From that moment onward, I had tried over a dozen different shampoos and conditioners, specifically ones that were both sulphate (not including a clarifying shampoo that I definitely needed to invest in lol) and silicone free. (*I’m not saying that anyone should demonize these ingredients, but for my fine hair type, I just find that silicone-free is better for me*). Anyways, after months of being unhappy with every different product I tried, I came upon these.Shampoo Notable qualities:- Peppermint for hair growth stimulation, SD soothing properties, as well as overall pleasant aroma and tingly experience-Rosemary oil for definite hair growth stimulation- Tea Tree oil for exceptional SD treatment- Great combination of surfactants like cocomidopropyl betaine and— my favorite— C14-16 olefin sulfonate, as well as many others.-moisturizing ingredients too, such as argon oil, a few polyquaterniums, and moreI always do scalp oil treatments the night before a wash, and therefore double cleanse my hair. My hair is always so clean and soft after shampooing, never any residue. It’s also not overly stripped, but still perfectly cleansed and voluminous. Literally my IDEAL shampoo in every way. It’s also extremely concentrated, I’ve had the same bottle for several months and it’s not even to the halfway mark yet. AND I always shampoo twice.Conditioner:Now, this is where this set let’s me down a bit. Do not get me wrong, this is a very nice, creamy, medium-richness conditioner. Not too runny to the point that I’m using half the bottle just to feel like I’m getting somewhere (although it is still thinner than how I usually prefer my conditioners to be— but that’s preference). But this is NOT a bad conditioner!!!! The problem is, there are over 5 different proteins in the entire ingredients list, and barely one or two conditioning ingredients. And for my frizz-prone, low porosity and therefore very protein sensitive hair, that’s a l o t. Someone who’d benefit more from it is a person with color-treated, or very damaged hair.Nonetheless, let it be clear that I’d still pay for BOTH if it meant I could repurchase the shampoo again. That’s how much I adore it.As for my scalp issues and hair loss, I never want to give a singular product credit for something that is governed by many different factors. A mixture of devoting time and effort to scalp and overall health— (no more scalding hot showers, not putting my hair in super tight hairstyles anymore, UV protection as well as no more heat tools, not letting my hair get too oily/built up, scalp oil treatments + massaging before washing, using less irritating products on the skin, clarifying frequently enough, etc)— AND using this shampoo is what I believe truly helped me recover. I have zero desire to ever use anything else again :)
3.0 out of 5 stars Great shampoo but...
Shampoo great. Conditioner a problem. Cannot squeeze conditioner out of container. Conditioner thick and feels like a glob of grease. Used a butter-knife to get the glob out of the bottle. This was my first time to use the conditioner. Will not order it again. Don't know if this is an old product???
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for fine or thin hair
After cancer and PCOS thinned hair, I needed to find something that would restore moisture and balance, yet add body and shine. This set is a winner. The smell of the shampoo is awesome, a lot like Paul Mitchell Awapuhi. Lathers well and makes my hair feel clean. The conditioner smells like coconut yogurt, it’s a nice moisturizing conditioner that doesn’t leave your hair weighted down. My hair feels light and bouncy - definitely more body. The shine - oh lawdy the shine. I will definitely purchase again.

I wish I could adequately explain my disdain for this product. I know the words will fail me but for all other consumers out there I am going to try.I was so impressed with the fact that it came with a pump. It not only came with a pump but it came with a toggle cap (idk what the heck they are called). So the bottles are capped then come with two other pieces of plastic to choose from. It’s a bit excessive when crazy California is banning straws. So I open the safety sticker and I am struck with a smell I recognize well: 1980s medicine cabinet. You know the metal ones that locked in the scents of salves and Watkins “medicinal” rubs/powders. Avon deodorants and Bayer aspirins in bottles lined the shelves and maybe a tiny fancy bar of rose and ginger soap. Yeah. That’s what this smells like: thick salve and metal medicine cabinet.I’m still committed at this point. I’m like pumping myself up saying “it will be nostalgic” and the product will work so beautifully you won’t be thinking of your granny’s swollen ankles with that smell anymore. You will associate it with glorious locks of hair.So I jump in the shower and let the waves of memories wash over me like the water. I shampooed. I mean it sort of lathered which is okay - I’ve used shampoo before without the monumental lathering. It was more all about the cleanliness. When I rinsed I didn’t know what to think: squeaky clean or some sort of witchcraft spell had taken over my hair because at this point I could barely run my fingers through it wet.On to conditioner... I toggled the kid and BLOOP conditioner squirted out everywhere which annoyed me because it was wasted. I managed to maneuver the bottle and get some in my hand. I applied and left it to sit while I finished grooming. When I rinsed it was the same as after the shampoo. I was starting to panic. I don’t want my hair all lubed up like a grease monkey garage but my hair should be somewhat smooth allowing for the passing of fingers through it. Nope. It wasn’t happening.I exited the shower and to my horror I could not get my wet brush through my hair. I pulled and tugged and changed positions to no avail. It took me thirty solid minutes to comb out my hair. Normally it takes five. When I was finished I had a brush full of hair that had been ripped from my scalp. And oh Lord the tangles when I blew it dry... it was like a tumbleweed festival. I had to go to the store and buy detangler like I’m a 7 year oldThis stuff is awful. If I could give it a 0 stars I would.
5.0 out of 5 stars Shampoo conditioner
My hair is getting a little better. Used for hair getting thin. Little hard to get out of bottles.
Good Shampoo and Conditioner!
Overall, i like this shampoo and conditioner (Biotin & Collagen Set)! I have long, thick hair and this makes my hair soft and lightweight. I recommend this product and would buy again.First Use: There was a strong plastic smell when first using and the shampoo did have me losing more hair than usual. Left my hair feeling "squeaky clean." However, after it air dried it was so lightweight, soft and felt just great in general. It's worth noting that sometimes hair needs time to transition to new shampoo so don't let a bad first experience make you hate the product, you should allow a few washes to let your hair adapt. After a couple weeks: No issues with this shampoo and conditioner. I love it. My hair doesn't get greasy between washes and I love how light weight and flowing this leaves my hair. You also don't have to use a lot each use. Although sulfate free, the shampoo still offers a decent lather.I've seen a lot of negative reviews and how they can just go buy $5 shampoo for better. I just like to leave the reminder that you get what you pay for. If you think $5 hair care is doing you justice, i recommend you utilize an ingredient checker and do some research. Is this product equavilent to $50 shampoo/conditioner? No. But is it a good product at a cost effective price? Absolutely.
Great
First time using a purple shampoo/conditioner.My hair I semi light semi dark. But ice used it 3 times so far. It will take a bit to get where I want it due to the colour I have. But so far it's lifted it.Definitely if my hair was the light blond it use to be would make it easier to lift. But I'm happy with it. Smells amazing
There's GOOD 👍 & there's BAD 👎
***Been using this shampoo and conditioner for a bit now and I actually really love it! I will definitely buy again regardless of the price and the not so great scent.👎THE BAD IMO:1) The photos of the product on the Bolo site are, in my opinion, very misleading. My bad for not reading the amount that the bottles contained but the photos on the Bolo website lead you to believe that they are salon size bottles.2) The shampoo and the conditioner DO NOT have a nice scent to them at all, actually quite the opposite. I mean they don't smell like 💩 but pretty close 🤷♀️.3) The seals on the inside of the lids on both the shampoo and conditioner were damaged. The only reason I didn't return because of this was because the shampoo and conditioner we're also encased in plastic around the outside of the product. So I suspect they had just been tossed about quite a bit 🤔🤷♀️.👍THE GOOD IMO:This shampoo and conditioner works well with my naturally curly but very DRY hair. After use, I noticed a positive difference in the softsness, manageability and my curls were more defined. Had much less separation of my curls, fly aways and frizz.I will finish the bottles I purchased but honestly, I don't think I will buy again because of the undesirable scent of both the shampoo and conditioner as well as the price 😅.
Smells great, works fantastic
Not irritating, helps the curl so much in one use!
