I love this little vacuum! It’s super lightweight and maneuvers around really easily. I love the wake it looks. It’s very sleek and modern. It stands up on its own with no issues. Also, the hand held vacuum has a ton of power. It’s better than the another different hand vacuum that I own. I’m super happy with the purchase. I have used it all over my wooden floors with now big issues. It does not want to vacuum larger pieces like cheerios but it does fantastic on crumbs, dust, hair, dirt, etc. I am using it has a daily vacuum for a small room that has short carpet. It also works well on that surface. Doesn’t vacuum deeply but does a great job for daily/spot vacuuming. I think it’s a steal for the price. Super happy I could get something like this under 100 dollars. I love how small it is and doesn’t take up too much room. We live in a small house so this was important to me. It’s light enough my three year old was able to push it around without an issue.

This was a birthday gift to me, and it is just fabulous! I have used this vacuum for 3 months now, and I just love the design! It works so well, and I love the concept of a vertical and a hand-held vacuum. I am a fan of Kenmore vacuums, and this one takes the cake. It's powerful, easy to clean/empty, it has a hidden blade to cut long hairs from the beater bar brush. It is lightweight, easy to direct as an upright (the lighted head swivels smoothly), it is easily stored as it takes up little space, holds a charge for a long time, powerful, handles stairs efficiently, and gets dust out of crevices amazingly well. The charging platform also has posts to affix attachments to keep it all together. It's a wonderful deal. The only challenge can be getting the handheld reattached to the upright vacuum body; getting it to click into place sometimes takes a few tries, but that is the only design point that I could say could use a little change, and that is a very small issue. I can't recommend this product enough, and I hope Kenmore doesn't stop making such a great and thoughtfully designed product!

I have two cats and two kids and was looking for an easier way to vacuum round the high yield areas of the house at night. This little vacuum has not disappointed! It carries the bulk of the weight closer to the ground so it feels light weight and is easy on my wrists. Its rolls really well around on different surfaces and around corners. The added lights on the front help at night to spot the cat fur and crumbs! Hair can wrap around the brushes underneath, but I try to remove those about once a week with pair of scissors. Its an easy job and that really helps with suction power. Its also really easy to empty the canister, the dust doesn't go flying everywhere.The only reason I'm not giving this a 5 star review is for the little brush attachment, for when you use it without the upright stick. Its very difficult to insert into the hole at the end. Its almost slightly too large for the opening. Overall I wish I could give it a 4.5 star review. I've really enjoyed using this little vacuum!

Easy to assemble with very good instruction manual. This solid machine works well, easy to use, helpful light to show where you are vacuuming, strong suction on high speed. Low speed is good for oriental & fine rugs. Sits in charging base which holds attachments. Wish it was hangable to use less floor space when stored/charging. I am happy with this purchase & recommend it as the best rechargeable, easy to use stick vac I have ever used. Sleek, compact, & versitile.

I love this vacuum! It’s cordless so you don’t have to worry about outlets, it’s effective, fairly quiet, and it gets really low so you can go under beds and furniture. I thought it was a little heavy and hard to maneuver at first but I got used to it and now it’s easy! It does take a few hours to charge fully from a dead battery so I just leave it plugged in. Apparently it has like 30mins of vacuuming time and that is completely sufficient. I haven’t had it run out on me because it is so fast and easy and effective. Emptying the vacuum is a little interesting because you have the take the hand vacuum out of the bigger vacuum and then open the dust compartment and then there’s this filter thing that’s a little difficult I think because I always forgot which way it opens but not a big deal. Compartment holds quite a bit of dust. Hand vacuum works well too. Vacuumed inside my car and looks nice. There is a blinking light that flashed while it’s charging and I don’t like lights in my bedroom so I taped a piece of paper on it to block it. Not a big deal. Anyway, hope this was helpful - really suggest getting this vacuum!

The vacuum is very good quality. The size is perfect. It’s not heavy the value for the money it’s almost perfect. However, it’s still quite pricey but worth it. The quality is good. The functionality is good so far. I don’t have anything to say negative about it. I’m very happy with this vacuum.The suction is very good, and I love the rolling brush and the fact that you can clean the roller.

I cannot say anything negative about this cordless Kenmore Stick vacuum. I bought this months ago and use it nearly every day for low carpeting, shag throw rugs, bare floors, furniture and my car interior.The attachments are useful, it's light-weight, the run-time is sufficient for a whole house cleaning with juice to spare and emptying out the cup is easy. I like that it has a speed setting of low or high and both speeds have a lot of suction power.I honestly don't know if any of the higher end vacuums can do any better than this one because this is the only one I've purchased... but like, what else is a vacuum supposed to do? If there is one out there that can walk my dog or go buy milk, well then, I'm sold. But till then I know I made a very good choice in purchasing this Kenmore DS1030 Cordless Stick Vacuum. It made cleaning very easy for me and I did not pay hundreds for it.
Lightweight and convenient
I absolutely love this vacuum! I have bought many different ones and glad I found this one. I was looking for something that was cordless and easy to move around and especially to get my stairs. I live in a townhome with 3 levels (hardwood floors) so having a big and heavier corded vacuum was such a pain but with this vacuum it’s so easy! I vacuum multiple times a day as I have toddler+baby and two pets.The suction has two settings, both work good. I never have an issue with the battery life but I do vacuum everyday. Easy to clean and it came with an extra filter! Also comes with the extra handheld tools to pick up what the upright can’t reach. I would definitely recommend (I would even buy a second vacuum!)
Wow this stick vac is impressive!
The price is high but you get what you pay for. This is such a good stick vac with really good power. Way too powerful on high to vacuum a rug at my front door but low power worked great.Usually I don’t need to run it on high power and it does a great job at sucking up all the cat hair that floats around my house like little balls of tumbleweeds. The hand vac is amazing too and I use it to suck up all the cat fur that ends up on my stairs. I have a Ragdoll and the fur is fine and floaty - IYKYK. This has really helped to keep the fur and mess my kids make at bay, keeping my floors so much cleaner.This is also so easy to use that my young kids can just take it off the charging base and return it easily to charge. I love that they don’t have to fiddle with plugging it in. Really, nobody has any excuse to not vacuum messes when it’s so easy to grab and vacuum. Even the filter is washable so you don't have to find replacements for it. Love it so much and it’s totally worth the price!

Light weight and does the jobEasy to take apart for thorough cleaningSometime after vacuuming, debris stay in the brush area and fall out after the power is turned off, so I have learn to not turn off the vacuum until I get to a dust bin, and turn it off and shake off the remaining debris, then from time to time, take everything apart and give it a good cleanThe fitting works but feels clunky when I put things back together, and I feel I need a little bit of brute force, not the nice click and fit feelingSo overall, pretty good after I learned the little tricks, so 4 starts
Love this
I love my Kenmore stick vac. I've had it for about 6 or 7 months and use it regularly. I get about 25 mins out of the battery. Long enough to do a decent vacuum of my townhouse. It has powerful suction and can pick up most things. It is fairly loud, but it's a vacuum, what do you expect? I use it both on bare floor and low pile rugs and it works well. The handvac easily detaches and it can be used with the included attachments. I LOVE that the base is the charger. So, the vacuum sits on the base to charge. It's exactly what I've been looking for.
