5.0 out of 5 stars A Must for Wide Feet
I recently tried Altra shoes, and they have quickly become my go-to footwear for running and everyday activities. The standout feature for me is the unique FootShape™ toe box, which allows my toes to spread naturally, providing extra comfort and stability during runs. This design also helps to reduce blisters and improve overall foot health. As someone who has trouble finding wide enough shoes for my toes, these are a breath of fresh air.The cushioning is perfectly balanced, offering support without feeling bulky, and the shoes have a zero-drop platform that promotes a more natural running stride. I appreciate the attention to detail in their construction, including breathable materials that keep my feet cool and dry even during intense workouts.Altra shoes are not only functional but also stylish, with a range of color options that fit well into both athletic and casual wardrobes. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for comfortable everyday shoes, Altra delivers exceptional quality and comfort. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a shoe that prioritizes foot health and performance.
5.0 out of 5 stars I love these shoes, but...
I have incredibly wide feet and typically opt for other wide running shoe brands like Hoka, New Balance, and Asics. However, I decided to give these shoes a try because they offered a zero-drop design and a generously spacious toe box. I purchased a pair in US size 10.5 wide, and I must say, they are incredibly roomy and comfortable. For the first time, I could truly feel my feet being able to breathe inside a shoe! I haven't worn any other shoes since getting these, even for non-workout activities. I am absolutely enamored with them. There is one minor issue, though. After approximately two weeks of use, I noticed that the rubber pad on the top sole started peeling off slightly. I plan to fix it by gluing it back on and hopefully that will resolve the problem. However, I understand that these things can happen, and I find it forgivable because it's evident that this brand genuinely cares about catering to my specific foot type. It's a rare feeling to experience such consideration.I genuinely hope that this shoe performs well, and perhaps Altra could consider making the sole a bit more durable in the future. And we know that they have the capability to achieve that.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great sneaker except for sole peeling off :(
This is my 6th pair of Altra sneakers over the last 10 years, the first pair in this model. I have had great experiences with all previous models, all but the oldest pair are still wearable. These Torin 6 shoes feel great, and the cushioning is excellent, not too much and not too little. I love the wide toe box and zero drop design of Altras, although some models seem to be getting narrower causing me to try some other brands. I wear these mostly for walking as I have other models for running. However, the soles began peeling off after only a month of use. I've seen some other reviews complaining about this, so I guess it's a common problem. I bought these in June 2023 and since August 2023 I have been continuously re-gluing the red and black rubber sole pieces back on a few times per month. Not the same ones though, once I glue them on they seem to stay in place. But these were designed 25-30 individual little sole pieces and over time almost all have come unglued one or two at a time.. If not for this defect these would be perfect.

1.0 out of 5 stars Very Disappointed
I love the comfort and feel of these, and have purchased 5 pair of Altras. Torin 5s were great. Ran over a hundred miles in them. I never ran in the 6s, just wore occasionally to work. They’re coming apart on the soles and separating on the sides. ALTRA warranty won’t cover non authorized dealer purchases from Bolo.Shame, I really liked these.
3.0 out of 5 stars Souls don’t lasy
I LOVE THESE SHOES!! And will probably buy another and recommend them because they are so comfortable. But, the colored tread on the bottom doesn’t last. I’m on my third pair and all 3 have worn out and come separated from shoe. My last pair I’ve had for 7 months and it’s happened again. I’d tell someone looking to buy these they are a great shoe for 6 months.
Bad Product
Shoe is coming apart on both shoes at same point(inside of the foot). Sizing is correct and did only about 50Km walking.I have Escalante 3 as well with no issues with tearing or coming part on the inside like the torn. I am guessing just a bad product I got.
Mailman approved!
Great for walking long distance
Okay Shoe. Breaks down.
Review of Altra Torin 6 Running ShoesFirst Pair: After 1011 km, there was not much left of the shoes. They should have been replaced around 550 km, but I tend to be frugal.Second Pair: I purchased my second pair a month after the first because I found the Torin very comfortable and light. Initially, I really liked them. However, at 240 km, they are already degrading quickly. By degrading, I mean the sole is almost worn off, and the fabric around the toe section is tearing from the inside where it meets the sole.I’m giving the Altra Torin 6 a 3 out of 5. They are really comfortable, and my body appreciates the zero drop. However, I wish they were constructed better to last longer.
Size small
I’m 8 1/2. And it feels tight at 91/2
Son cómodos y parece que ando descalza
Y si no pongo la Goyo del original de colores es por que estoy fuera de mi casa pero don del mismo modelo los recomiendo 👍🏼
