Love Wyze products. Extremely good quality for a low price. I was so happy to see this product by Wyze. I have numerous device / camera’s from this company. I have always recommended this company due to features, durability and functionality. I replaced the existing deadbolt with the keyless entry in less than 15 minutes. Extremely easy to install. Love the app on the phone and easy programming. You are able to program the thumb print to multiple people. Everyone in the family can access the door just with a fingerprint. Highly recommend this product.

Wyze has really made a great product. This lock really makes it easy to go in and out of your house. It is NON-HACKABLE since it only used Bluetooth and no WIFI. The only problem with that is that the Bluetooth does not have a very long range (about 25ft to 35ft). But I only use the remote feature when I come home and it's raining and I want the door open when I get there. The best feature is the fingerprint reader. If you get one, I suggest you set it up for at least two (2) fingerprints (one right hand and one left hand) for each person. This way when you are carrying something you can use either hand to open the door. I also use an 8 digit code as a backup. Many other similar locks only allow 4 digits. The single onetime code is a nice feature if you need to allow someone else to enter your home.CONS- Sometime, but not often, the lock will seize up. I have had it to not to accept a remote open from my cellphone. And one time the fingerprint reader locked up. NO PROBLEM! If the fingerprint reader hangs up just open it with your code number (and then you probably need to change the batteries).If the "Bluetooth Opening" from you cell phone messes up then there are two possible fixes.1. Reboot your cellphone.2. Remove one of the batteries (see picture) from the inside of the door controller and reinstall it. So far, this has fixed the problem every time.These issues are don't happen often, and since I have had my lock for a year or two, these are very minor.The batteries last for several months, and I would say that you will use about two (2) sets of batteries per year. This is very good considering the convenience this lock provides.The auto-relock feature is a favorite of mine. This comes with several choices for the time span you can set. I use 5 minute now since my old lock was only 15 seconds.I have recommended this product to several of my friends.

We've had this lock for a year now and it has performed without issue. My only complaint is that the fingerprint reader isn't amazing (though it is quick). Won't work at all for our little kids' fingers and I often have to try a couple of orientations to get it to work. Lock connects easily to the Wyze app on bluetooth and it is quick to enter additional codes and activate or deactivate people (for example, my mom has her own code that I can reactivate whenever she comes to visit). Also allows scheduling, so I can set up a code for a repair person and only allow them to enter during a designated time. We also really like the auto-lock feature since our kids always forget to lock the door on the way out.Installation was easy even for me, who isn't mechanically inclined. Batteries have lasted a year with no issues even though my kids play with the lock constantly. We've had other Wyze products in the past and they have always been excellent value. Maybe not the top product on the market, but great for the price.

Edit 12/24: Downgraded to 4 stars.After months of using it, and an extended period of dry time, I realized once it started raining, that this device has issues with moist fingers. It's the only time that the device doesn't work for me, as for my wife and my female tenant, I also realized that they're unable to access the fingerprint option, no matter how many fingers you add. The device simply won't work for thin fingers, if your finger covers the scanner, you're fine unless it's moist, if you have a small finger, then most times it won't work.Hopefully, this is a firmware update away, and Wyze can fix soon. Otherwise, don't be a female and expect to use the finger scanner.Another issue is the app, the history doesn't refresh easily, sometimes it just won't reflect the latest use.Battery life is great, still above 90% since 4 months ago.Original review:If you've installed one before this is a piece of cake, the app works great and since I already had one camera with wyze, no need for anything extra to do other than adding the lock to your devices. Takes a couple of uses to get the right angle with your fingers, but once you do it, you'll wonder how you went without it before.Another great thing about this is that you can schedule when the auto lock comes on. I set it between 6am-11pm because we go in and out so much, it's annoying during the day. It locks automatically at 11pm and you can change that easily.I also really like how quick it unlocks/locks.So far, I have no complaints about this, will edit if anything changes and to update battery life.
Good quality for the money
I bought this to replace a broken Yale Keyless Lock Bolt that stopped working. Installing and configuring through the app was very simple and straight forward. The unit works unexpectedly better than my previous one that was twice as expensive.The app can be used to control the unit only when you are in bluetooth proximity. Does not work over internet from a remote location.If and when this one would break (we are a family of four that come and go all the time!), would definitely buy again.

Amazing and Easy to install and program
Finger Print is amazing and super fast. At this price point was expecting problems with touch and functionality overall.Blown away by the response of the fingerprint and the easy installation. My kids all love the fingerprint reader no more " what's the code again". The App is super easy. The Number Pad is good quality and is good backup for other family members. As for durability we found it to be good......metal outside with finger print reader and key pad and plastic shell holding batteries inside the the door. Use good quality batteries for a good experience, Now will see if it stands the Canadian Winter.
