I previously bought a 24oz one as a gift and absolutely loved the look and feel of it, so I decided to buy a 32oz version for myself (the color I chose is Boneyard, and it is a nice mint like color).I love that the straw part is covered and that it is completely leakproof.Insulation is pretty good. Keeps water cold for a long time (6 hours is the longest I've tried it, so that's good enough for me) and if I want the ice to last longer, I just add cold water instead of room temp water because if not the ice will melt quickly (but that happens with pretty much every other bottle I own).It still keeps the water cold for a long time even if there is no ice.TBH I never really liked water bottles with straws (maybe because of the hassle of having something else to clean, and the whole plastic thing), but lately I have been spending a lot of time on my desk and I have realized that raising my neck to constantly take sips of water felt a bit uncomfortable after sitting and staring at my screen for hours, so the free-sip feature is definitely worth it.The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because it should have a metal straw (luckily there are some third party ones that fit), and because mine arrived dented (I was able to sort it out with Bolo, but it was still annoying).

The media could not be loaded. I have had this bottle for just about a year now. This is my second owala bottle because I absolutely loved the leak-proof design, the straw/sip feature ( especially the fact that the mouthpiece could be covered as opposed to a Stanley). However… a few months ago I started to notice some black spots around the rubber lid free sip spout gasket.I was pretty alarmed to see mold on this water bottle I sip on constantly. I have cleaned this bottle based on the owala guidelines. However, the moldy patches appear in the same areas. My theory is the wear and tear of closing and opening the lid makes little cuts on the rubber over time and it’s practically impossible to clean it out entirely.After looking at other reviews, it does appear others have this same problem.Owala sells this replacement part “Replacement Freesip Spout Gasket” for $1.99 but it is currently out of stock. Bolo has an Owala compatible replacement on sale for $4.99 (2ct).I will be purchasing this replacement and seeing how long it lasts.Overall I have loved my bottle, BUT this is a significant downside. Just something to be aware of when making this purchase.

Absolutely perfect
I have been looking for an insulated bottle that will allow me to have ice cold water throughout my 12 hour shifts. I've found that I can fill this bottle with ice and refill my drink at least 4 times with water before the ice even seems to be melting.It makes a huge difference to how much water I drink, as I prefer my water ice cold. I also love that because it is insulated, the bottle doesn't "sweat" and leave water rings on the surface it's on.The covered straw/chug option is great (although I rarely use the chug option), I feel as though it is much more sanitary than having an exposed straw.I can't pick a fault with this bottle at all, except that now my whole family wants one
