Vintage peeler is on the right... new one is on the leftNew peeler is slightly larger. It also has a much wider , deeper cut.The deeper cut makes it more difficult to use. Not terrible, but you have to push/pull harder. I really like the smaller, narrower vintage peeler better.It's very difficult to find these vintage style peelers. I have arthritis in my hands, and the peelers with the thick, bulky handles hurt to hold... a lot!This style is easy to hold and doesn't hurt so much...I'm giving it an overall rating of 3 stars because of the much thicker cut. Wastes vegetables...

For using them on some potatoes, they were quite difficult to peel. My old peeler was easier to use than this new one. Plus holding it, felt kind of sharp, from the handle, so it hurts your hand after using it for a while. I don't recommend buying it.

It is just OK. Does not peel vegetables easily. I bought a cheap peeler and that’s what I got.
