I bought a $1000 e-bike and I was nervous about riding it and parking it downtown. So I got this lock and one other and now I feel super safe. My bike is always there when I come back from the restaurant or whatever meetings I ride to.

I went to lock it but somehow I accidentally changed the combination when I was using it and now it’s garbage. Do not buy this. The way it locks is easy to accidentally change the combination. I actually don’t know what I did but it’s now garbage. I actually got to use it 3 times before it failed.

It is not as good as I thought.I haven't tested it yet in dangerous places, so I cannot tell anything about how safe it is...PROS:- Sturdy- Long enough- FEELS safe and resistant to burglars.- Holder holds it in place- Combination-lock, no-key.- It unfolds instantly.- Combination can be changed easily.CONS:- You have to make sure the combination is facing you before locking it, otherwise you'll have to lie down to look at the numbers.- When closing (locking) the chain/circle, you have to pull the orange knob, otherwise it won't lock.- The combination numbers are huge.- The combination numbers are not smooth at all, it takes some effort to move them.- It is NOT easy to handle, since it is very sturdy, you have to spend couple of minutes locking it (of course is not flexible).- The holder seems to be low quality, I'm afraid it will fall apart quickly.- I think is expensive for what it is.- And the least of the problems: while riding, there is a squeaky noise produced by the metal parts.

Good quality and easy to install. It is a good fit for my super73 ebike protection against people who steal stuff. I was able to assemble in minutes. Good price, good quality and was easy to use. Highly recommended.

I settled for this lock after A LOT of shopping around because it is the only one that is very strong, has a combination lock and is priced reasonably. The instructions are confusing and hard to read but the operation is actually quite simple. I would reword the instructions as follows:1. Turn the dials to opening combination code (initially 0000) and the orange knob can now be pulled in and out.2. Pull it out to release the latch when unlocking.3. Push it in after latching the lock, then turn the dials to lock down the orange knob.4. To change the code turn the dials to the opening combination code (initially 0000), pull the orange knob out and twist it to the opposite position (the only direction it can turn). The knob then becomes "spring loaded" so you have to keep pushing on it, then while pushing it change the dials to the new combination. Once you have the new combination set let the orange knob pop out and then twist the orange knob back to the original position and push it back in. The orange knob will now be back to normal (no longer be "spring loaded") and the new combination will be set.
