Took out the the brassiness out of my blonde hair leaving it a beautiful, cool tone. I love the way the shampoo also makes my hair feel so soft and the smell of it is amazing. I gotta give this product a perfect 10.

I keep my hair a white shade of platinum and this is hands down the best shampoo for keeping it that way. I use about once every 3 weeks (so every 10th wash or so) and really only need to leave it in for 2 minutes tops to see results. This is a great maintenance product between my root touch ups and when I just don't feel like mixing up an actual toner to get my hair back to that snowy white hue I like.It's not super drying for a toning shampoo amd doesn't leave a funky lavender tint to my ends. It can grab a bit more silvery on them if I accidentally get too much on the tips, but it blends into the less porous hair much better than purple lol.The grape scent is kind of icky to me as it reminds me of grape cough medicine but I can deal with it since it works so well and the smell doesn't linger after rinsing.

I am a die hard fan of Milkshake. They have great products and their purple shampoo might be the best thing they have.I like the normal one Just a bit better because i don't think i need this one as much, but they are both very good and the scent is amazing. Best purple shampoo for the price and it works very quickly..

I have used a lot of toning shampoos and this one is by far the best!! It actually works to tone any yellow out! Sure it dries out my hair a little bit but all toning shampoos do and this one isn't as bad as others! I follow it with the conditioner and my hair is back to being super soft with no yellow!

This shampoo is great for brightening blonde. I definitely notice the difference after using this. My hair is brighter and lighter than before using it. It really helps with the brassy blonde. It works better the longer you leave it on your hair but it has really nice results. My only complaint is that I wish it were more hydrating. I have very dry hair and this shampoo does not hydrate as much as I would like but I just make up for that with other products. This is a great product for the price and I will continue to use it to brighten my blonde keeping it looking nice between color apts.

Wow! Just: wow! I had seen this shampoo every time I searched for “toning shampoo for blonde hair”. I bleach my hair every 6 weeks or so, so it goes without saying that I use a LOT of products in between those bleach jobs to restore bonds, combat damage, retain moisture, and neutralize brassy tones. So I’ve used a lot of products.When I say this shampoo is the best toning shampoo I’ve ever used, you can be sure I have the data set for it to mean something. In just one wash (with my usual bonding conditioner), it neutralized all the yellow in my hair. In the shower I looked at the ends and I was worried they might end up grey. A lot of the purple stuff will leave my porous ends purple until I shampoo again. But when I rinsed and dried my hair…it looks so good. There is a very faint hint of grey in a few spots, but you need to really be scrutinizing my hair to notice. I’m sure it will come out when I do my hair mask tomorrow.It gave me that perfect ashy, cool platinum I love. Thank god, because as much as I love T18, I just don’t think I could handle putting developer in my hair one more time this month.

I had high hopes for this after the reviews I’ve seen on Bolo and the benefits I’ve seen about black shampoo vs. purple shampoo.The grape smell is delicious and reminds be of grape bubble gum and it seemed to work well in my hair. It didn’t dry my hair, which is a big plus.Turns out it was dark purple; not purple. And it didn’t work any better than other shampoos I’ve used.

Best Purple Shampoo
I had a friend recommended this product and it is the best purple shampoo I’ve used in 10 years. Smells yummy, does not dry hair out, and tones without turning your hair actually purple. Worth not buying drugstore.

Ich blondiere meine Haare seit 13 Jahren und hab schon einige gängige Silbershampoos durch.Dieses Shampoo ist ein echter Game-Changer! Es funktioniert wunderbar, reduziert unerwünschte Gelb-Töne und macht das Haar eisig blond. Dazu riecht es noch angenehm nach Blaubeere.Würds mir immer wieder holen.

After spending a small fortune purchasing purple shampoos and conditioners only to find my blond highlights still brassy and yellow. I bit the bullet an bought Milkshake black shampoo. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. Smells lovely, lathers up great, gets rid of the brassy yellowness in one wash and it lasts for a couple of washes so no need to wash your hair everyday making it worth the money you spend. I've used it for a couple of weeks now and I'm so happy with my hair colour now. This will now be my definite go to shampoo for as long as I have blonde highlights.
