I like the way it looks and I've timed it and it is accurate within about 30 seconds. Some residual sand sticks to the sides but comes loose with a quick tap on the side, and this seems to be nearly unavoidable with these slower sand timers.

I only bought the hourglass because it was something to decorate with. That’s black-and-white because my living room decor is all black-and-white. I really love the little hourglass though it’s just perfect not too big not too little.

Close to 64.5min when measured, so it's not going to be exact for you. Longer is fine for my use, but you might get shorted too.It's pretty once cleaned, and seems pretty protected by design. The sand is a shiny purple, and the hourglass is a little larger than anticipated, but I didn't measure beforehand.
