I decided to install the shingle roof on my new garage. Eleven squares of laminated comp shingles to install. I bought the DoTool roofing nailer and it worked perfectly. Great value for the money. A good product for a DIY'er or home use.

I bought this to put 4 square of shingles on my shed ,i was very impressed. It never jammed,the only problem i had was double nails because i tried to hold down to hard.half way though i found that if i held the trigger and than hit it worked better no double nails.

I'm going to give 3 star or neutral rating. The gun is solid and has weight to it. Im a contractor and I've gotten some pretty good cheap tools from Bolo and figured I would give this a try. My trusty old nailer blew apart so I got this one. Yes it will do the job in a pinch but you won't win any races with it. I say that because of the ONLY negative I have with it is the trigger. It tends to not want to fire. On several occasions I would pull the trigger and nothing happens. Fist day I used it no issues at all, but now it's hit and miss when it fires. Overall for a diyer it would be sufficient or be an ok backup nailer. But hey, it was cheap so I guess it does ok

Never handled one before but love how simple it is to use took me 5 minutes works great but whish the sold adapter for framing cause ,now i need a framing gun ,I don't know about nail size just your average Joe so that would be helpful for some of us who want to learn yet don't know the difference. But happy tool is great.

Didnt use nailer until 2 months after i bought it. Cant return it. Wont advance Cant find any customer support for product.

Overall gun is decent for beginners or for those who are planning to do there own roof. Wouldn’t recommend for a professional roofer. Gun is heavy, shoots slow, and throws a lot of air. After a few roofs gun will start to come apart, due to screws coming loose. Can be fixed by putting glue from keeping from falling apart. So durability is not very good. Also nail settings aren’t very good.

Gun fell apart on my 3rd roof of the week, terrible pressure in the gun aswell do not recommend for real roofers
