This excellent addition to your candle making kit is great for both DIY beginners as well as candle making experts - natural soy wax beads melt easily in the microwave and require minimal equipment, making them a great choice for small batches, and the synthetic emulsifiers in Pro-Flex also give the wax a more even consistency in the cooling process. Just heat to 160°F using a microwave, wax melter, or double-boiler, add fragrance and/or color, remove from heat, and stir for two minutes. Pour immediately into your melt trays, room temperature jars or other containers. Allow your creation to cure for up to 2 weeks for optimal fragrance-throw.
With a melting point of 120-124°F and a pour temperature of 135-160°F, our soy wax beads offer a seamless candle making experience and are safe both to handle and to burn. The maximum fragrance retention capacity of 12% or 1.9oz/lb. makes it possible to create beautifully scented candles with scents that linger for a long time. The recommended wick series for this wax blend type is CD/ECO.

We have already used up about 5 - 45lb bags. The wax comes in pastilles and is easy to deal with, however, take note, it is very sticky and soft. The pastilles stick to everything. We got one of those hard plastic scoops and we keep the wax in a plastic storage container.We heat to about 190-200, pour, put on our magnetic stirrer, pour FO at 185, and let it mix until it cools to 165 then pour. We get smooth tops every time.Note: This wax pulls down kind quite a bit. So you might have to smooth the tops a little bit. Not like soy where you have to fill in sinkholes and such. Just a quick run over with the heat gun to fix the pull-down. The ones in the photos have been run over with a heatgun for like 10 seconds.The scent retention and hot throw at 10% is phenomenal.Unless some holy grail of wax comes by and takes this off its throne, we'll be using this. Highly recommend!

Thought I would give this wax a try for pillars, although it is not advertised for pillars. It is a soft wax and has a little lower melting point. I don't usually use the microwave for melting wax but gave it a try with this one. It took several times at 30 seconds each then a final 60 second setting. I wouldn't use the microwave again, it seemed to take longer to me, but it will work as advertised. It is a container wax but it did work in my mold and fir wax melts. The melts popped out easily but the mold stuck a little. I was able to get the candle out but I wouldn't use it for pillars. Since I have never used this company I will be trying their other waxes as well. My next one will be their pillar wax 😉

This is my new favorite wax for my candles. Super easy to use and the finished texture is perfect! First time I haven't had to use a heat gun to smooth out my surface. I heat my jars before I pour and that seems to work best with this wax even though it doesn't say too. Will buy again for sure.
