5.0 out of 5 stars Insanely good value
First and foremost - I am somewhat of an entry-level audiophile. I own various triple digit pricetag headphones, both over-ear and in-ear, various DAC devices, and overall have an ear for sound quality. I'm no multi-thousand-dollar spender, but I do have an ear for sound. Now, on to these earbuds. I got them for $20 to use with my Steam Deck. I have a pair of Sony WF-1000XM3 which are fantastic sound quality and amazing for noise cancelling - for music and movies they are absolutely wonderful. However, for gaming, they are terrible - they don't support any low latency codecs whatsoever, meaning gunshots and other sound effects in games typically are heard about a half second before they occur on-screen. This detracts from the experience very badly.I decided to try these because they are cheap, said they have a 5 hour battery life, and ultra low latency.I can safely say I would buy these again. Multiple times even. The bass extension and volume is good, super low sub-bass notes are going to shine, and the highs/treble could use a little more extension too. For music they would be what I call "good enough", but for gaming, the sound quality is honestly "great". The latency is nearly imperceivably low. I tested a few various games and was surprised to see that I actually could not detect nearly any latency. The average user would absolutely be happy with these and even I can say I am definitely going to keep these attached to my Steam Deck case for use with it every single time. The case is fairly small - a little thicker than an Airpods case but not really much at all. The battery life I have yet to test but they claim 6 hours on a charge and 24 hours with the case. The cheapest Razer earbuds get about 3 hours on a charge and are twice the price. The are very comfortable, light enough that you forget you're wearing them, and though don't have any active noise cancelling, passive isolation is pretty good.Basically, if you want to grab a cheap pair of buds for gaming, something that if it disappears one day you won't cry because of the hit to your bank account - wow. You won't be disappointed.
5.0 out of 5 stars No audio lag on Nintendo Switch!
At home I've been using the Razer Barracuda X over-ear headphones, which uses the low-latency USB C dongle. I needed something more portable and cooler to wear in the hot weather. Audio delay is something that has made me skeptical of using Bluetooth for gaming at all, so I was hesitant to try these, but at the price point I was okay with the risk.I'm impressed with the use of Bluetooth 5.2 here. In Game Mode, the low latency sounds just as good to human ears as 2.4g wireless. You can switch to Game Mode with three taps of the right earbud. I do not use these for listening to music, only gaming, but the EQ feels right for most games. Rumbles are rumbly, clinks are clinky, and all the little details and cues are clear. The sound is full and clear, not tinny at all, which I was afraid of from cheaper earbuds. I haven't drained the battery yet, but on a weekend playing on-and-off for about 4 hours, the battery was not even halfway depleted.I'm pleasantly surprised by Black Shark, and I'm very glad I didn't pay the gamer premium for the Razer equivalent. If I lost my over-ear headphones tomorrow, I would be fine with only using these earbuds from now on.
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for gaming, through my Steam Deck
I read everyone's review before buying, and only saw 1 review via YouTube which said this product is better in comparison to the previous models. For the most part I agree with everyone on their positive feedback.I use this for gaming only, specifically on my Steam Deck. I tested this product out on a few games: Witcher 3, Forza 5, Halo Infinite, and Thumper (Musical Game), just to see how it handles on different sound types/environments.I have come up, with my pros and cons.Pros:1) Very comfortable, don't even know it's in my ear playing for extended hours.2) The Directional Audio Cues, is great. A very immersive audio experience, hearing sounds from different location and ranges. Perfect for those First Person Shooter games.3) The Mic has been working great. Others have told me that they hear me fine during gameplay.Cons:I only have 1 that came across. I noticed during gameplay that the audio starts to break up at certain points. I don't think it's the bluetooth signal strength, since my Steam Deck is literally a foot away my face. It seems to happen when anaudio change occurs. Best example, when playing the Witcher 3, I'm having an conversation with some character during a quest. Then when the quest is completed and that celebration/completion song comes up, that is when the audio starts to breaks up.I also noticed this on the game called Thumper, which is a musical game.So this is the only reason I can't give it a 5 star. Otherwise a good product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty awesome for the buck
This earbuds really scored way over my expectations.• Sound Quality is not crazy good but much better than their price peers.• they don't feel cheap at all.• the mics are great for calls, i don't see myself using them for media creation but they are good, its not like you can't use them for it tho'.• noise cancellation is ok, nothing to write back home.• Gaming Mode 1MS delay is a MUST!I don't know how much more it drains than the regular mode but jeee... I LOVE IT.• There's nothing i can say about the life of the device since i don't have that much time with it but they feel durable.5/5
Great product for what it is used for
I love the colour scheme so that is an added bonus. sound quality is great and I like that you can switch between game mode for faster latency and music mode for a more crisp sound and added base. the battery is great as last me all day easily with the extra charge from the case. sometimes to switch from different devices can be a bit cumbersome as you usually have to disconnect from previous device before connecting to another but not a big hassle and automatically connects to previous device on opening the case. Definitely recommend if your into music or gaming and on the go.

Fantastic value for the money
These wireless buds work surprising well for the money. While the quality of the audio is not amazing by any means, it is perfectly acceptable. I much prefer these to the original apple airports, and the fit of the black sharks is better too. Its easy to workout and run with these, without worrying that they will fall out. Battery life has been fantastic too. Highly recommended
How do they fit so much in?
Buying new headphones can take hours of research as there is so much choice. I was only looking for a replacement to the broken pair I use in bed. These are geared towards gamers and that was what interested me to try them.Connecting first to my phone was easy and they sound good if slightly biased towards the bass. To get them working on my PC I had to buy a Bluetooth USB adapter, the newest one I could find at a good price was a V5.1.The Black Shark buds connected to the PC very easily once they were disconnected from my phone and they sounded great in game as well. Comfort is great, I hardly know I'm using them and probably better than my wired HyperX headset, feels free without the wire.I love the look of the case and the LED's which do serve a purpose of letting you know the status of the buds and the charge. The only issue I have noticed is the distance before the sound starts to break up which was only a few metres. This is not really a problem as I'm sat next to the PC, so it was whilst connected to my phone that I had the issue. So very satisfied with my purchase.
