5.0 out of 5 stars Good mono headset.
I've looked for a mono headset for years. All I could ever find was a headphone designed for tv and I got that twice but they were trash and broke quickly. So I've been using earbuds but my ears don't like having an earbud in all day. I listen to media on my PC all day as I work/do chores etc.I had "Bone conduction" over the ear hook "earbuds" most recently that were good but are wearing out now so I tried a search for single ear headset again and was pleasantly surprised to see these.Bonus points for it being convertible to a full headset if I want too. Most of the time I need to keep one ear open to my environment though and pushing a full headset off one ear is super uncomfortable. So far so good. (edit:I just saw there is a newer model and it's currently cheaper. The only difference is battery life 70 vs 50h, so buy which ever is cheaper at the time)They feel comfortable enough. The padding of the cup goes around the ear and doesn't rest on it. Would be nicer if they had more velveteen type cover though to reduce heat retention against the skin but it's the same as most as is. I may look for replacement covers later but it's soft and feels fine. The mic is reversible so you can do a single headset on either ear you like.Range is great with dongle. Way better than bluetooth. I went all the way to the opposite corner of the home with an outside wall between me and the computer at the far corner from me and it sounded just as clear with no drops as right next to it. I even wore it to go get some firewood and it still got clear signal with a metal shed between the headset and the dongle way back in my room. I didn't bother to try the bluetooth but assume that would compare with the range my earbuds were getting.Sound quality is good. There are definitely better headsets or headphones out there. If you get these you're most likely more concerned with what they do, convert to a mono headset. They sound good. They sound better than any of my earbuds. Much more range and I can hear things I couldn't with the buds. They are also MUCH louder as earbuds are required to limit how loud they can get to try and prevent hearing loss.Want to add that I'm in a very noisy room as I have a wall heater right next to me with a VERY loud fan and this sounds good. I have the volume at 30% when I almost always had volume at 80%-100% with earbuds, and that sometimes still not being enough. It's handy that the headset has pause/play and volume buttons on it. The volume button controls the devices volume rather than have it's own volume boost, but as I've said it's plenty loud. Slight down side is they are positioned to be blocked by the mic, when it's in the upright position. They are very light. For me this is a big plus as a past headset I had was very heavy and was always falling off. This fits well. Pretty close to perfect for me at the smallest adjustment. Despite being light they do not seem to be flimsy. I'll find out with time. The instruction book is nice and clear. So over all great mono headset. Good sound. Not the best headset out there but I've for sure had worse sounding. These sound perfectly fine and if you're an audiophile you probably aren't looking for a mono headset anyway. Good base and highs, all you need for basic media listening.Tip: if something doesn't work check on updating the device driver. Pause stopped working for me but that fixed it)
5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely fantastic and gets the job done.
Audio quality and call Quality are superb and better than any other headset that I have used today received phone calls sound amazing and you're able to get volume that you can hear just about anything. And the microphone is very directional with its pickup so people are able to hear you very very clearly especially while driving. You can charge it while using it but the battery life is still a week of constant use. I have a very large head and it is comfortable on my head. I have recommended this to others and I would continue to recommend it. So far I have 17 months of daily use for 3 to 12 hours a day everyday. The type C charge port is also a bonus as that is now the standard charger for most phones and it does charge quickly.
4.0 out of 5 stars Work as intended.
The headset fit well , the quality of the product is plastic which is good because light weight but bad because it can brake easily, mic work great and is easy to connect the Bluetooth , battery time is really good it last for more than 7 hour plus ,for long time use's is not recommended because it starts to hurt after a hour, sound volume is good and you hear clearly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Above average for its price
I've had this headset over a year now and wanted to update. For their price, it cant be beat, at least compared to what's at a truck stop. They do have a flaw that can make them slightly worse than the one ear muff version. In order for the connection to be seamless, these types of ear muffs have a wire that goes through the head band and connecting the second ear muff. It's not protected as I found out when the headband broke and exposed the wire. Perhaps that's why I noticed a decline in audio quality over time. Calls became less clear and volume decreased. The one ear muff version from this brand doesn't have that wire and I haven't noticed a decline of anything on it. I've also had the one ear muff version longer. Perhaps the maker can develop a thicker wire and protection or just get rid of it and add another set of microchips for the other ear muff.Overall. Great sound quality out the box, great call quality out the box, long lasting battery lasts me a full day of listening to music and taking multiple calls per day. Bluetooth range not accurate. More like 60-90 ft depending on obstruction, front of truck or behind it. After that range, audio starts breaking up but not lost until maybe 110 ft. May differ with phone. After time, audio and call quality do decrease on this one. One piece ear muff still strong, haven't replaced cushion or experienced a reduction of quality.
5.0 out of 5 stars For $40 on sale, I'm considering buying a backup
Really great clear sound quality. Great value and great product
Shockingly good sound quality and range
One look at the box and you'd think it was just another cheap headset from a rack store. At least, that's what I thought. Out of the box, it's not much to look at either. The earcups are quite small, perhaps fit for small ears, and they don't swivel in either direction or fold. The padding is also quite standard - soft on the ears, but pretty stiff overall. Noise isolation is not great as a result. Full plastic build, with a microphone arm that folds upwards, but blocks the function buttons when it's up there. So yeah, right off the bat, I wasn't expecting much. But here's where things take a bit of a turn. Firstly, it comes with its own dedicated BT fob, so when I plugged it into my computer, it was basically plug-and-play. Turned on the headset after charging and it paired immediately and incredibly fast. Still does. Of course, you can always use it as a stand-alone BT device without the fob, but believe me, if you're using it for your computer like I am, it makes a world of a difference.Audio lag with the fob - virtually zero. Even playing at 2x speeds. Very impressive. As for range, it's even better than most of my mid-range headsets and better than all of my BT earbuds. The microphone, despite having excellent noise cancellation, has about the sound quality you'd expect. It cuts a lot of the lows out, and sounds pretty much like most headset microphones out there - nothing special, about what you would get from a BT lav mic. Maybe slightly better. But as far as the SOUND quality out of the headphones....just wow. And this is coming from a lifelong musician and casual audiophile. Obviously my expectations were in the dumps to begin with, so keep that in mind; but surprise surprise, the 3 onboard EQs actually don't suck. In fact, the pop mode is very decently balanced, and the bass mode is quite frankly very good for music. It was shocking to say the least. The drivers didn't come with any spec, so I'm guessing it's the standard 20-20, but across the spectrum, it's incredibly well balanced. Obviously not much in the sub-bass range or ultra-highs (probably due to the diaphragm diameter), but where you need it, it's absolutely there. The vocals are clear in the mids, basses hit well in the lows without overpowering the curve and the highs are where you need them. Without any tweaks, I literally couldn't have asked for more.As for the function buttons, the volume levels are very discrete and move up and down in fairly large incriments. There is a tiny bit of lag in the play button compared with my other sets, but it still works fine. Really the only drawback of this set is the sheer amount of functions you need to remember, since you're working the headphones, mic AND call controls from only 4 buttons on one earcup. And there's only one light too, so you need to know what each colour and frequency means. Fortunately, the booklet has a mass of tables for reference, but I got the hang of it in only a couple of days. But considering the rather cheap and lightweight build quality out of the box, the performance of this set is simply phenomenal. Honestly, I'm now using it as my main computer headset because it works so well. Sure it's not as comfortable on my ears as my other headsets, but the earcups are definitely not in the way when I have them around my neck - another plus. That sound quality though. I'd love to experiment tweaking the EQ a bit on my computer to see just how well I can dial it in, but for now, consider me impressed. 5 stars for exceeding my expectations, which is not easy to do!
La cancelación de ruido es una falsa promesa
Ordene los auriculares porque tenían cancelación de ruido pero parece que solo es falsa propaganda porque se sigue escuchando el ruido.
Bluetooth Stereo/Mono Headset
Initially I had a problem with these, but once sorted they are a really good headset, with great sound and most importantly, they have a good loud microphone. I've bought headsets in the past and the sound level on the microphones have always let them down, but not this one... nice and loud and clear. The sound from the earphones is good when listening to music or voice, not tremendously bassy, but enough for you to enjoy the music. Bluetooth connected first time without any issues. I really like that you can use just one earpiece or click in the other for stereo playback, perfect for my needs in different situations. One thing to note, initially, I had sound from the earpieces when on a chat program, but as soon as I unmuted the mic on the chat interface, the sound coming from the headset stopped. After a bit of trial and error, I ran the troubleshooter for the speakers and then for the microphone using the windows sound controls and it fixed the problem, so you might need to do the same. All in all, a really comfortable headset with good sound from both the input and the output. Very pleased.
Good overall with some drawbacks
The microphone stopped working 2-3 weeks after the return window closed.I really liked them. I found them comfortable and I loved that you could switch between headset and headphones plus the sound is very good so I am really disappointed.Edit : So I managed the fix the microphone. I had to delete the device from my peripherals and redo the whole process. I wasn't expecting it to work since the headphones were fine, and it didn't work on the first try but still, so I was pleasantly surprised. The good points I previously stated still stands but I am knocking off one star since it could be really impractical if the failure occurs right before a meeting. Hoping this works long term because it works really well when it does. Also hoping this might help anyone who gets the same problem and assumes it is broken because only one feature stops working randomly!
Sounds is great!
This model of headphone is the best sounding headset I've heard in this price range. The good:- Really good lows/mids/highs at up to about 80% volume (which is louder than you will be using this 95% of the time).- Ability to change from headset mode to mono/call mode is great.- Easy to swap- USB dongle is great for low latency video/teams calls etc.- Connectivity options between bluetooth or dongle- Connects automatically and quickly- Light weight and soft (Comfortable headset).- Mic sounds great as well!- Easy to find buttons for volume, mute, pause, etc.-USB C charging-Can use the headset while chargingThe not-so-good:- I will update if anything negative occurs, but so far, other than maybe these could get warm after several hours, they are great headphones and worth the money.Overall: If you happened to find this headset, and you are in the market for something cheap in which the sound at normal volume levels rivals the expensive brand competition, then really consider buying these because, like me, I'm sure you'll be happily surprised by the sound and overall good quality of these headphones, and their simplicity to use. Well done - I love this headset!
