I bought this to install 800 sq ft of LVP flooring in a rental. I knew I needed a good tapping block to tap the planks together. This works fantastic, it is heavy enough you don't need to use a hammer most of the time. It is long and straight so you don't worry much about damaging the tongues or grooves of the planks. Thick enough that it can easily be hit/tapped with a hammer if needed. The handle is comfortable. I am glad I bought this instead of the small hand held tapping blocks. Well worth the slightly greater cost.

This tapping block was worth every penny. It out performs the small cheap ones sold at a major Flooring company and the big “box” stores. It makes installing rigid vinyl plank so easy. Great tool!

Solid product. Works as advertised. Good value. Buy it before your flooring job. Nice weight. Make sure you tap flooring panel flat and not at an angle to prevent damage to planks. Not much more to say...

This is made in China but is a very good tapping block for the money--I used it on edge of plank flooring instead of a hammer as it has a good amount of heft and does not seem to damage edges of vinyl plants if careful. I am a woman and it was easy for me to use.

My husband watched many videos on luxury vinyl floor install. The pros used this so my husband added this to the needed tools. A must have if installing your own flooring. It was a lot of work, but turned out great!
Works great
I own this one as well as the striker xxl by Marshalltown. You can not go wrong with either or. I’ve owned the Marshalltown one for a while and the handle cracked about a year in but they were quick to send a replacement. The striker is bit heavier than this one but they both work just as good.

A must for diy flooring
I originally purchased a different product but decided to purchase this based on YouTube videos. This product was worth the cost and made the job go smoothly.
Good block but no groove
Like this tapping block but it comes completely flat without a groove to accommodate the flooring ( to avoid damaging the flooring click connections ).Used the router to cut a 9mil groove for the flooring plank connections.4 stars only because it lacks the groove otherwise it would be 5 stars.
Can't use in tight spaces
Amazing easy to use. Can't use when you get to close to the wall but other then that highly recommend.
