5.0 out of 5 stars Whistling Tea Kettle with Class!
Well ordered this after doing some research on what was available out there! This one hit it out of the ball park! I bought it primarily for heating water for my noodles and instant premium coffee. Unlike nuked waster it cools a lot slower so I can actually enjoy my coffee and instant noodles without them getting cold right away. I also like green tea with lemon grass. This pot is prefect, fancy enough to just leave it on the stove, like an expensive decoration, but functional and efficient to use every day! So no stuffing it in a cupboard. I was surprised at how well it was made, real quality something you don't see much of anymore! I don't cook anything in it but water so cleaning is a breeze. Loud enough whistle so you just put it on and it let's you know it's ready, but not too loud. Has that well made feel to it can be used on even the new induction stoves, I use gas, faster cheaper cleaner to use. So if your looking for something fancy to use when friends come over or just looking for something that's going to be used daily this is definitely the ticket! No wood handles to crack or break off either just solid workmanship, and what ever they did to the bottom for all the different stoves to work with it adds to its value.

Good sized with vibrant colors.
5.0 out of 5 stars Hunting camp Kettle
Stainless steel kettle works great. Use at hunting camp for heating water for coffee press
4.0 out of 5 stars Heats well and keeps hot but noisy before boiling, better insulation needed on handles
The colour and shape fit quite nicely with my other appliances. I like the open and close trigger for pouring but I feel like the mechanism could get slack/damaged easily. Outer pot is easy to clean, whistle is loud enough, and pot keeps the water nice and hot.My main issue with this is the noises while boiling. I almost had a heart attack with all the clicking noises it makes while boiling, it sounded very much like the clicker to light the stovetop. I also burnt my finger holding the handle and I barely touched the metal part. I know there is a disclaimer about using mittens, but I think the handle could be better insulated.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tea Time
Very durable, stylish kettle.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well, whistles great!
I make three to four gallons of tea a week, because that is my preferred beverage any time of the day. I also drink hot tea occasionally (especially on cold winter days!). My husband actually suggested that I look into getting a kettle that I could use for boiling my water for tea, and we spent about an hour looking at different kettles (including electric) before we settled on this one. (Electric was voted out because I don't want to have to find a place to store it away.) I read the reviews, and while this little kettle gets overall great ratings, there were a few reviews mentioning rust and burns and other problems. So here's my take...I read the card that came with the kettle, and basically it said DON'T leave water in it all the time, DON'T scrub it with anything abrasive, DON'T wash it in the dishwasher. It also said DO use a pot holder or mitt or something when you're pouring the water out. Well, duh. The handle is coated, but the steam coming out from the boiling water is going to float upward, and could burn you. Do yourself a favor, y'all. Read the card, and do what it says. What I like: I don't have to turn up the stove eye as high to get the water to boil. The whistle reminds me to get up and fix the tea (I hate waiting for water to boil, so I go off and do other things, then forget that I'm supposed to be making tea). I LOVE the color. We have an old house (80+ years old), and while it's not true to the age in every way, we do like our little retro areas, and our kitchen is one of those areas. The stove was made in 1975, and still works beautifully, and this little pot looks adorable with our other red accents in the kitchen, and I'll probably leave it sitting out most of the time.I've already made a gallon of tea with it, and I'm really pleased! Don't hesitate if you're worried about some of the negative reviews. Just take care to avoid the steam, and take care of your pot in a sensible manner.
4.0 out of 5 stars Beware of the price!
Overall the tea kettle looks nice, but I felt disappointed when I saw lots of similar (almost the same) models at Ross stores, like the ones you'll see on Bolo, for HALF THE PRICE. The main difference these kettles didn't carry the "seal" that makes this one appear of better quality. But the weight and design were the same. I was tempted to return it, but gasoline counts as well, and I didn't have the time. Another issue, and this is for all models like this: the spout is short and so close to the handle, that one has to make the effort to pour the water bending the wrist more than needed. Which is OK for me, but I was thinking if a person has arthritis, I will never recommend this type of kettle. The color: mine has no color, because I've read that after using it, the color coating is burnt. The size: bigger than I expected.Update: after using it for several weeks, there's a light grey sediment inside. At first I thought it was the tap water, but no, this is the kettle that has formed a thin film at the bottom. Though I leave it empty. So I make sure the sediment particles are gone after rinsing the kettle twice or thrice before boiling water. Everyday I do the same.
