Update 1-21-24: All 4 of the glass bottles, the handles & white lids are still in great condition. They get alot of daily use & are in constant rotation in the fridge. The white lids are still easy to snap on & off and none of them have cracked. I'm still going to get extra lids to keep on hand just in case they stop making them in future years. Overall, really pleased with the quality of everything. Also, with the way my fridge is designed, I can quickly fill each bottle up with filtered water right from the door. Couldn't ask for an easier way to always have water mixed & ready to drink.Original review: I drink 64+oz of flavored water a day & wanted to get some extra containers. I ended up ordering 4 of these (two 2-packs) & got rid of the 2 Rubbermaid ones I had. What a bargain these are at $10 each!! These were the best bundled deal to get 4 that are made in the USA.They arrived in perfect condition. The glass is on the thicker side - no imperfections & not too heavy. I started out using the lid with the spout and red cap, but the lid itself has a teeny, tiny hole in it that is necessary to allow air flow in to properly pour. After putting that one on & shaking up the water to mix in the flavoring, I discovered it leaked doing that. No big deal. I'm now using the white lids. I find that this lid is easier to snap on & off and the bottle pours faster on its own without the spout. I removed the white safety rings & they were not wasted. My cat finds them absolutely irresistible to play with. : )I can store 3 of these bottles side by side on the fridge door. The handle makes it easy to lift them out, but I always support them on the bottom with one hand, then use 2 hands to pour.One thing I'd suggest....Purchase a bottle brush to wash these out. I got one & I can wash and rinse one of these bottles out in under 2 minutes. The bottles dry out fast in the dish rack.I highly recommend these!! I never run out of water now. Replacement lids are available to buy separately.

We use these pitchers for milk and we couldn’t be happier. The glass is easy to clean. It is thick and durable. We use the spout lids and they are difficult to pry off; however, I prefer this because it eliminates the chance of leaking or the lid falling off. Our raw milk remains fresh in these containers for several days. These could also easily be used for other liquids like lemonade or water.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great container but plastic pop-on tops are very hard to remove
Love this container but the caps are very difficult to remove. We have only used the cap with a spout thus far. The spout is already partially torn due to the tough cap removal process. For easier removal, the container should be at room temperature and the cap run under hot water for a minute or two. A screw cap would have been much, much better than a cap that pops into place. Aside from the cap issue, the container is a good size and the grooved indented grip area allows easy handling.

I wanted glass milk bottles for the raw milk that I buy in plastic jugs. These are very easy to pick up and hold. The only complaint I have is that the yellow lids with pour spout are very difficult to remove. However they seal well and the pour spout with lid is very convenient. The regular lids without pouring spout are a little easier to remove. They also seal well so that I can shake the bottle where the cream has separated from the milk. The mouth of the bottle is small but I can get a bottle brush inside to really clean it well with hot soapy water. I didn't feel that the dishwasher could get enough water and soap in the narrow neck so I wash them by hand to be sure they are very clean. I would definitely buy again.

So I’ve got an older fridge with skinny door shelves so I got these to hold a gallon of milk with out taking up all the space in the bottom of the fridge. Then when the arrived we decided to make use of the easy pour lids and life is simple. No need to worry about over pouring a small glass and I can trust my teen not to pour half a jug in 3 seconds while not paying attention to what he’s doing. Also they are thick and sturdy bottles no worry on breaking here. The lids seal well and audibly click into place.

I use this in my fridge for brewed iced tea. It keeps any fridge odors out of my tea. The cap fits tightly (doesn't screw) and it's easy to hold and pour due to the side indent. I can also lift it by the tab around the top. It cleans easily and doesn't take on any stains like plastic pitchers. It also looks pretty in my fridge.

I like The Jug and handle on it but... the caps are really hard to get on and off. You got to have a long handled scrub brush I use a bottle scrub brush to get it cleaned but it's pretty good.
Stanpac manufactured, commercial quality glass bottles
Stanpac logo is embossed on the glass, so it's clearly manufactured by Stanpac which is good news if you want quality glass milk containers as they produce pretty much the entirety of commercial glass milk bottles in North America for dairy retailers. I took a picture of this bottle next to the two other common styles of Stanpac glass milk bottles for comparison. I suppose it's all down to personal preference or need, though the 1 Litre bottle style in the middle probably suits most people's needs best.
