Fast! Holds heat. Love the auto shut off. The design looks so cool on my countertop. The paint chips easily is my only complaint.

It's bigger than I expected--I'm making tea for one, but I don't mind the capacity. Fit and finish are great. Looks good on the countertop. Temp gauge is accurate. Auto-shutoff is fantastic--no whistle or alert which is totally fine. I'd prefer not to have one. Has some heft to it which makes for a reliable pour. I've never had another one to compare it to, but it seems reasonably quick. I'm usually making 1/2 pot. By the time I make toast and get a plate, the water is about ready. I don't find myself waiting on it.

Pretty color but huge, heavy and awkward. Pouring is very clumsy! Putting water inside is hard since handle is in the way. Burned my hand when opens the lid after I poured a cup of water to wash! I purchased a returned one and came with spout bent and all scratched up! Last time i will purchase a retuned item!

Super easy to use, I got it for my 10 year old who loves making tea. Looks beautiful on the counter too. I gave 4 stars because when I pulled my kettle out of the plastic I noticed there were a couple small scratches on the temperature gauge.. Not a huge deal but kind of disappointing with it being brand new. I did reach out and was accommodated right away!

Gave my friend this and the matching toaster for his birthday and it looks even better in person. I swear his kitchen looks so posh now and both appliances work perfectly. We both love them! Now I need a set for my house.
Retro & Functional
The kettle looks great and love the styling of copper and black. Upon first use, I noticed the kettle takes longer to heat to a full boil, but the temperature reading helps to know when to take off for certain tea temperatures. I was a little worried that the kettle takes longer to boil for the coffee press, BUT, I was impressed how long the water stays hot in the kettle afterwards! You could drink a cup and come back for your second cup and the water is still hot! Love this. Kettle is well made, light and sits on the base easily, so after my second press this morning, I’m loving this kettle even more. Definitely going to buy more of these Haden black/copper series appliances to update the kitchen!
Love the retro styling
Looks great on the counter. Love the retro styling and the temperature gauge. Boils quickly, really holds the heat, and feels good to pour. The lid is a separate piece, which I like because the flip-up lid was the first thing to break on my previous electric kettle. Amazingly, the little handle on the lid does not get hot. Ordered a matching toaster. Very happy with the quality so far!
Beautiful kettle
I love this kettle. First saw one like it in a hotel in England. Them when looking for a new one saw it on this site. Ordered it and it arrived quickly in perfect condition. I looks great and operates great. I got black which is beautiful with eh copper trim. Love the valve on it...like a steam engine! Highly recommend. Would love to get the matching appliances.
This kettle is beautiful and functions well too
The kettle takes ~7'45" to boil 1.7 litres of water, not bad but not great either (very similar to boiling similar volume on our gar range); but then, I didn't buy it for speed. It is a cool looking kettle that fits our kitchen's 'splash of red' motif very well. We also needed a larger kettle and the choice of >1 litre kettles is limited.The switch on the back feels sturdy and has a clear detent when turning it on, there is also a blue led on the switch...unfortunately not a matching red one, but it is bright and is visible from the front as it reflects nicely off the tile back splash.So that just leaves the gripes...on switch isn't lit in red, base is a little light and so can move a bit when setting the kettle down. So far that's it - very minor issues or complaints. It is a bit expensive, but it if lasts as well as it looks, that might not be an issue.
Love my red kettle
I love my new electric kettle. I have been wanting to order it for some time now but was having difficulty deciding on the colour. It was between putty and red. I finally chose red and I'm very pleased. I love the way it heats up quickly for a cup of tea and I love the look. I would definitely recommend it.
