Here's a breakdown of its key features and potential drawbacks:Pros:Adjustable Height and Shape: With stakes, connecting pipes, and snap-on arms, this cage can be configured to various heights and shapes (triangles, squares) to accommodate plant growth. This is a great feature for users who have different size plants or need to adjust the cage as their plants grow taller.Easy Assembly: The modular design allows for tool-free assembly, making it quick and easy to set up the cages.Green Color: The green color blends in well with surrounding plants, creating a more natural look in your garden.Multiple Uses: Beyond tomatoes, this cage can support other climbing plants like peppers, beans, flowers, and even vining vegetables.Cons:Plastic Construction: While some users find the plastic material to be sturdy, others mention it might not be suitable for very heavy plants or strong winds. If you plan on using it for large or heavy plants, a sturdier metal cage might be a better option.Potentially Flimsy Stakes: A few reviewers mentioned that the stakes themselves could be thicker or sturdier for better ground support.Limited Reviews: As a relatively new product, Legigo 6-Pack Tomato Cage doesn't have a vast amount of user reviews yet.Overall:The Legigo Pack Tomato Cage is a practical and adjustable solution for supporting a variety of climbing plants in your garden. The easy assembly, multiple configuration options, and green color make it a user-friendly choice for gardeners. However, if you have particularly large or heavy plants, a sturdier metal cage might be a better option. It's also worth considering that user reviews are still limited for this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value and quality!
I recently purchased these green plastic tomato cages, and I couldn't be more pleased with their performance. The cages are sturdy and well-designed, providing excellent support for my tomato plants. The green color blends nicely with the garden, and the plastic material is durable yet lightweight, making them easy to move around.Assembly was straightforward—no tools required, and the cages stay securely in place even during windy conditions. I've used them for a month or so now, and they’ve held up well, supporting the growing plants without bending or warping.Overall, these tomato cages are a fantastic value. They offer great support, are easy to handle, and have proven to be a reliable addition to my garden. Highly recommended for anyone looking to keep their tomato plants upright and healthy!
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for my needs
I bought these cages for the tomato plants that I am growing in a planter box and additional containers . They are well made and easy to assemble. I really like that you can add on to them as needed. All of my plants are not the same height, so this works great. Since these are container tomatoes the fruit is not expected to be very large or heavy, so I think the cages will offer sufficient support.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Replacement for Old Metal Tomato Cages!!!
These plastic tomato cages arrived a couple of days ago. I was dreading taking them out of the box and assembling them, but they only took a few minutes to construct and place in the garden! The box was quite a bit heavier than I expected. The cages are very sturdy and will hold large, overgrown tomato vines (which is occasionally a challenge as the summer wears on).I really like that these are easily disassembled and can be stored in a relatively small space. I've previously used the old-fashioned tomato cages and was constantly struggling as to how to store them without taking up space and scraping myself every time I walked by them.I have a small container garden, so these are the perfect addition. They're expandable/adjustable as the plants grow and will be super easy to store!
5.0 out of 5 stars great plan cages
these plant cages are great -- easy to assemble and use with my tomato plants
3.0 out of 5 stars Missing part
I bought two sets of these tomato cages. They were easy to assemble and seem sturdy, but one of the connector pieces is missing. Bolo customer service was of NO HELP. The tomato cages are assembled and installed in the garden, I am not going to take them out of the ground, disassemble them and return them. The tomatoes need them NOW. Just send the snap on connecting piece that is missing! I was going to order another set just to make the current cages taller when the tomatoes outgrow these, and for my pepper plants as well, but not if the company cannot honor a simple request.
5.0 out of 5 stars So far, a good product.
I used this plant support kit to keep my HARDY HIBISCUS clumps upright. I used 6-7 vertical assemblies (Stakes held together vertically by Tubes) to surround clumps. Considering the fixed length of the horizontal "Connect Arms", I was surprised how forgiving and easy the overall design is to install on sloping, uneven, and somewhat rocky flower bed soil. The above ground portion of my cages are about 2-1/2 tiers high, with the bottom tier of Steel Core Stakes pounded about half way into the ground. (I pounded with a hard rubber mallet to avoid breaking the protective green plastic which covers the stakes.) I was amazed at how imprecisely I could ‘eyeball’ a bottom stake position, build upward from there, and yet with little effort deform the verticals enough to clip on the Connect Arms. The green plastic protective covering did not crack when pounded on, and well matches the color of the stems and leaves. In this application, you don’t even notice that the hardy hibiscus plants have a cage around them! Pleasantly surprised and impressed! Since installation, the caged plants have experienced three windy thunderstorms. Everything is still standing upright. NOTE that the pictures of the Stakes appear to show bare steel exposed on the top end. All the Stakes that I received are totally encased in what seems to be the tough green plastic coating.
