It's hard to find ramen not made with wheat, I had in the past but that brand was no longer available. These were made of buckwheat and although shaped like ramen, they cooked up more like the tiny udon noodles. The flavor is good but cooking times tricky, because they are like fine angel hair you have to keep checking. They break easily so making a noodle salad isn't as easy as it looks. Good value for the price, good flavor and texture.

Recently went gf, and have been hunting for a gf ramen that doesnt break the bank and tastes good. This so far has been the best one I tried. The texture is just a little mushier than normal ramen, but it tasted good. No flavor packet with it, but a little garlic salt, soy sauce, chicken broth and butter did the trick.

IF you cook these to the precise sweet spot where they don’t fall apart, they’re quite good. But if you overshoot by just a bit out leave them in hot soup for too long they just don’t stay together well, get softer and softer like any rice noodles. The package size is nice but for the price I may as well just get cheaper bulk rice noodles.

I thought this came with a flavor packet or instant soup stock but that is okay that it didn't. Usually the flavor packets of a lot of instant ramens out there are too full of salt and other unhealthy things. I bought this ramen because it was gluten free ramen. When cooked the texture and chewiness factor is quite equal to regular flour based ramens. Just remember to immediately drain and place in cold water after cooking it in boiling water. so it won't get mushy. Then go on to incorporate it into the rest of your dish whether it is to go into a soup or stir fry..

i prefer rice ramen. it sits better with me and brown rice and black rice are really good for you. it's a nice change. if you have kids they would probably like it. something different is usually a hit especially when it kinda looks like worms
These noodles are so good!
I have been searching for healthy noodles and these fit the bill. Clean organic ingredients, no oil, no additives. The texture of the noodles are wonderful. Bouncy and chewy like ramen noodles should be. 7g or protein is a real bonus. As a T2D it is great to be able to enjoy homemade ramen again!

Delicious and convenient. Very good texture and flavor! I recommend these noodles! I thought the noodles would have a grassy flavor or would not taste as nice as unhealthier options, but these taste like really good ramen noodles. I thought the portions looked small, but the noodles expand when cooked, to a filling portion size. Love the natural color of the cooked noodles, as well. Very good product. Very good purchase. I just ordered some more!
Most Amazing Noodles Ever
These were a bit off putting initially because they are very dark in color out of the package. I figured they wouldn't be very good. Boy was I wrong! These are the chewiest, most amazing ramen noodles. I have already reordered. They taste like regular wheat noodles.
Great product
For the price and convenience of delivery, it was a bargin. Cheaper than buying individual packs at my local grocery. Also, the package comes with a very well produced recipe trifold. *A note for first time buyers: the packets do not come with a flavour pack like regular Raman noodles do. You have to add your own sauce and seasoning.
Fabulous
I love these noodles and they are perfect for so many recipes plus they are healthy and high in fibre. I took away one star as the price has risen considerably since I last bought them. They are just noodles. No seasoning.
