The media could not be loaded. Item comes with a way to tell if the temp. is correct, comes with a butter injector and a handle to putt it from the heat so your hands are not burned, not shown it comes with a set of legs to keep the bottom from touching the surface, pot shown is not included. I think it is a good value for what you are getting since there are so many items included in the package. I highly recommend if cooking a fairly large whole bird.

The media could not be loaded. I used this for a 12 lb turkey ,and it failed immediately. I destroyed the box ,so I'm out this + oil cost,and no fried turkey dinner. Complete fail on dry run probably saved serious injury or worse .I destroyed the box or it would be returned

It's a one use item. The stem nut on the base is pressed in so if you hit it the wrong way it brakes right off. Not a good time trying to get your turkey out.

I have deep fried a few turkeys in the past. Most of the time, it has been a simple process to measure the volume of oil, heat it to the proper temperature and then submerge the raw turkey into boiling oil. Nothing to be afraid of at all is there!What attracted me to this accessory kit is the ability to cook other poultry (chicken, duck?) with the basket providing a base for those birds. I also had 'misplaced' components of my deep frying kit when I moved and saw this as a way to replace those items.First (and the basis for the rating), these components appear to be well made - likely of steel and they fit together very well too. The basket flexes out (for a turkey) easily and it closes up for a smaller bird too. The thermometer is well marked with 3 ranges - the optimal heat is well marked. The hook and lifting points are easy to engage to remove the bird from the hot oil.The primary 'negative' with this kit is a lack of instructions. I have cooked a bird in hot oil so I understand how to use the components but for a person cooking their first bird, instructions are important. Not having them 'cost' the fifth star. Sorry but 4 stars is where I am at on this well assembled and well made kit.

I can rely on this kit for many fry sessions to come.
This accessory kit has everything you need for a successful fry! The stainless steel chicken holder is incredibly sturdy, securely cradling my turkey while it cooks. The handle lifter hook is a thoughtful addition—lifting and maneuvering hot food is a breeze without any spills or mess. I love how safe and easy it makes the whole process!I’ve always wanted to infuse more flavor into my turkey, and the seasoning injector makes it easy to inject marinades and spices deep into the meat. The result? Juicy, flavorful turkey every time! It’s so satisfying to serve up a dish that bursts with flavor.The drip pan is a fantastic addition that catches all the grease and drippings, making cleanup a breeze. After frying, I just toss the pan in the dishwasher, and my deep-frying setup is as good as new. It saves me so much time and hassle, allowing me to enjoy the meal rather than dread the cleanup.
Cheap metal, broke immediately.
The thermometer worked well. The injector is cheap and Bass pro had a better quality one for $10.00.I mainly bought it for the turkey holder. Well it’s a vegetable steamer base and it folded faster than a 2,7 off suit! Was able to cook a fantastic turkey, but not without the holder falling apart and being a one time use.
Do Not Buy!
I tried to use it once, before I even got it in the deep fryer the upright metal piece broke. It is not stable even it if didn’t break. Very disappointed in this product.
Works, but watch out sharp edges
This is a set of stainless fryer kit for chicken, duct or turkey. It has a foldable tray, hanging pole and hooks, a thermostat, and an injection tool. Poles can be thread onto the try so the try can help retain chicken on the pole for fry or roast. The kit works fine as described.The stainless foldable tray looks interesting in the beginning, because it can be folded to save space. However, after a few tries, I found out that I would prefer a non-foldable plate. The stainless sheet of the tray is very thin. Although the edges of the foldable tray leaves are curved round, the bottom of them are not special treated. I got hurt my finger by the sharp edge of the bottom when cleaning the tray after cooking.I also found out that the pole is not so stable onto the plate. I can manually bend the pole because it leans to one side. With weight of chicken or turkey onto the pole I feel it is wobbly and could fall off.I would prefer a more stable and sturdy kit for cooking.
