You can tell a lot about a product when it has repeat purchasers. I discovered Blue Orchid Oil about 10 yrs ago and it's a staple of mine now. Clarins is very herbal and this has a rich, almost patchouli scent. It replenishes the moisture of my dried-out-from-cleansing skin a glow. I wouldn't do without it now. LD

I love Clarins products and there were a few different oils to choose from, and I went with this one. I LOVE IT. I will say it has a herbaceous smell that might not be for everyone, but what it does for your skin outweighs the smell 10-to-1. I am 43 years-old, with pretty decent skin that tends to be more dry than anything and this is probably the best facial oil I have tried to date.

For reference, I have dry flaky skin and have trouble applying makeup due to my skin peeling off underneath. After trying this product, I finally was able to go a full day with makeup on that didn’t peel off of my skin! This product is a life saver! Super hydrating!

This skin oil has a nice texture and my skin stayed hydrated overnight. However, the patchouli smell is so unpleasant for me that I will not use this on a regular basis. For me with a sensitive nose this smells like pine needles in a stagnant pond. Your experience may vary! Note I use other Clarins products and have not had this issue before.
