5.0 out of 5 stars Love these!!
My grandfather always had these around when I was a kid so I was very happy Bolo has them. They taste the same as I remember.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly like the description!
Fresh, delicious candy that is definitely worth the money spent! Highly recommend for anyone that wants to have candy hearts all year around.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious taste from childhood
There's wintergreen and there's wintergreen. This candy evokes memories from "once upon a time."But you can't buy them locally. I haven't seen them in a store in years.Bolo to the rescue! But be careful -- it's easy to overindulge when it's available by the pound.
5.0 out of 5 stars Mint = Regular! Yummy candy treat!
These are great! One thing that I wondered about before I bought them was the names of the different flavors.“Mint” is actually the usual mixed fruity variety that you get when you purchase the “regular” type of candy hearts. I found it very consuming that the basic candy heart flavors were named mint, considering they also offer other types of mint flavors. These have a very pleasant flavor and I agree with others that somehow they are a bit “soft.” Not soft like a gummy candy, just softer than the hearts I have had in the past.Great candy that was very enjoyable. Another cool thing about candy hearts, if you have heartburn, and don’t have any heartburn remedies on hand, they really do help. Something about that chalky type texture I guess. Just an old trick I learned about that I wanted to pass on.
1.0 out of 5 stars Not what you are looking for!
Don’t make the same mistake I did. The flavor listed is MINT, and there is zero mint flavor in these hearts. This is extraordinarily misleading and dishonest. These hearts are all fruity flavors, lacking the mint undertone I was looking for as in the Brachs. They also taste nothing like the Sweethearts brand either. This candy only physically resembles the above 2 mentioned, but tastes nothing alike.
4.0 out of 5 stars Not best Spangler replacement, but good
My husband has long loved the chalky-minty classic brand(s? I can't recall who all has made these), but after a disappearance of this flavor in stores and frustrating presence of only the pink wintergreen type, we looked online. Eventually, Spangler did produce peppermint for a brief period but is no longer. So, back to searching. I confess I haven't tried them because I really don't like this type of candy, but my husband reports that they are good though definitely not his favorite replacement. They have a stronger mint flavor, and maybe the texture is slightly different? Again, he likes them well enough. He may try another brand, or maybe not. It's an expensive risk if you don't like, so it would be nice to sample.
5.0 out of 5 stars Peppermint fresh
Very fresh
EXPENSIVE but good quality.
Rito (manufacturer in Quebec) makes excellent quality English mints. When these were distributed by Yupik (as recently as April 2024), 1 kg was $10.66. Gambie seems to be the new distributor for these mints on Bolo. Now 2 lbs (just shy of 1 kg) is $24.99. Quite the price difference! I may have to cut back on my mint consumption! 😂
