This pillow was purchayse in hopes that it was similar to a pillow I currently own. The pillow I was looking for another of was made by Ralph Lauren and is the same shape as this one. My boyfriend who has cervical issues (chiari malformation) always takes the Ralph Lauren pillow and I wanted to give him one. We find this one is maybe a slight bit better because it is ever so slightly softer, but still very supportive and pleasantly firm. Absolutely would recommend!

My husband got into a car accident a few years ago and struggles with a herniated disc in his neck. We looked all over the internet and people swore by this pillow (not this brand, just the pillow shape and style). For reference my husband couldn’t sleep through the night without getting up and walking around due to his pain. This pillow changed everything. To sleep on this correctly (for pain) you must keep your shoulders on the bed and only put your neck and head on the pillow. My husband can now sleep on his side or back for as long as he wants and that just wasn’t possible before this pillow.We tried so many other pillows before this one, so if you have neck pain similar to my husband’s and are on the fence, just try it! You won’t regret it.

I finally had to replace my last pillow that was the same style, and decided to try this one.I didn’t notice a smell, and it did slightly improve my neck pain if sleeping on my side. However, I think the height/thickness is just a bit too much for me. Lying on my back caused significant neck pain. It feels fairly firm, which combined with the height means I am not completely comfortable. It’s not a bad pillow, and for many I’m sure it’s great. My neck is just pickier than others, I guess.

I've tried many expensive memory foam "cooling" pillows but can't find any that are firm without becoming hot. For some reason most foam pillows are not firm, and many that have the cooling gel on it are hot. I basically had to do a keyword search within this product's customer descriptions that some people commented on its firmness... I was so glad to get this pillow which met all my expectations!I mostly sleep on my back and my head turns 90° left or right causing me to wake up with serious neck cramps. I also have an overbite so I needed a pillow that would support my neck and prevent my chin from going into my chest exacerbating my jaw pain. This checks all the boxes and I'm so glad I gave this pillow a chance. It doesn't get hot and it's half the price of so many pillows I've tried!

I bought this pillow to support my neck so that it doesn't hurt as my neck is fused together and a regular pillow doesn't work. It is very nice durable and comfortable I highly recommend it for anyone that needs neck support.

I bought one of these gel memory foam neck pillows a couple years ago. I decided to buy another one to leave at my mother’s house when I stay there. I couldn’t find the same one so I purchased this one, thinking they all feel the same. This one one was way too firm and actually made my neck ache really bad when I woke up the first time using it. I now have to turn it around so the lower part is where I lay my neck and head, but it defeats the whole purpose of this type of pillow.It may be good for others but not a good fit for me. I can’t image anyone’s neck can tolerate the firmness and height at the neck. I’m a side sleeper for reference, may work for back sleepers.

So happy with this pillow that I didn't know I needed. Have had many pillows through the years. I have also had problems with a sore, cricky? neck. This quirky little pillow has alleviated my neck pain and shoulder pain. Highly recommend it.
4.0 out of 5 stars A Pillow That Actually Pillows
Let me explain. Traditional poly-fil pillows are underfilled and go flat after just one use anymore. I used to find quality ones but it seems all the manufacturers are filling them with less and less stuffing. I've slept without a pillow for over a year because every pillow I bought would go flat and give me severe neck pain. I decided for the price of give this pillow a chance. The first few nights I absolutely loved it but after using it for a few months I just appreciate that it's still giving support. My neck hurts less often but the large bolster is a bit big for my smaller size. The space between my head and shoulders isn't as wide as the bolster so it lifts my shoulders up slightly instead of allowing me to lay flat until it warms up and really squishes. It can get too warm and loose it's support to a degree but it's still better than the poly-fil pillows and all memory foam has this problem. Overall I'm happy with it but I think next time I'll buy a traditional style memory foam pillow instead of one of these fancy ergonomic ones.
A very comfortable pillow.
I had to 'boost' it with another pillow under it, but so far, I have found it to be very comfortable and cool. Hopefully my neck will not ache so much now.

Recommended by a friend as I am experiencing neck pain while sleeping on regular pillows. I have been using the pillow for a week and already feel the difference. It is an excellent product and highly recommend getting if anyone has neck trouble while sleeping
