Unlike other strings I have gotten, the batteries lasted through the holidays. The colors- blue green red and gold - are exactly what I wanted and none that I didn't (like pink). It's on a timer. I started it (put batteries in) at the time I wanted it to come on every day. Strung them in front of the fireplace on steady, but all 8 functions workedPlease keep offering these every year. Perfect length, colors and functionality.

I bought these lights to go around the inside of my upstairs windows and didn't want to have to go up and turn them on and off every night. These work perfectly, I turned them on one time at 4 PM and they go off automatically at 6 PM. With new Duracell batteries they lasted a little over 4 weeks for me. If I needed more battery lights I would order these. Also I am not using them outside but the battery control box does look like it would be good to use outside.

I know there are battery sets that have a remote and timer, but not this one. One feature not mentioned is the builtin photocell to turn off your lights when sun comes up, and on when sun goes down. So, all you need is a good set of three batteries and that's probably all you need for up to a week of bright lights. And, you have multiple lighting modes to choose from.

I was looking for purple lights with mutiple settings for office decor. Every set I looked at had green wire (to match a Christmas tree) but this one had black wire which is what I wanted to blend in with my desk. Bright purple lights that can be set to fade, dim, blink, chase, flash and twinkle. Timer is a good feature too. Battery operated too. Waterproof box. Nice !

The media could not be loaded. I used these for the Sarah Sanderson cutout I have for my Halloween decor. They work well! The better ones are easy to put in, they light up nicely, the controls on the back coordinate accurately with what it says ease lighting mode should be. I used all 16ft on the back of this witch cutout which is 26x12 inches.I haven’t had a chance to test out the timer yet.
