After year of working with a bigger system, I switched to a MacBook and felt it in my back and neck within a week. Moving the display to an ergonomic line-of-site height and switching back to a mouse and full size keyboard with a numeric keypad has made all the difference in the world. This stand is substantial yet endlessly adjustable. Provides a secure landing space without any straps or snaps. High quality appearance with no obvious plastic or cheaply painted finishes. Recommended.

To me this is perfect. I like that it’s extremely stiff as anyone who is using a stand more than likely is using an extended display anyways. Why you would want a laptop stand to type on is beyond me. What i want is for it to protect my laptop and keep it at the level i need it to be at for either work or gaming. I use dual or triple monitors for my work so the height I have it at will not vary too much. I find most stands do not withstand the test of time and will simply collapse under its own weight. You won’t have that issue with this stand. It’s as everyone says stiff but to me that’s what it’s designed to do. Keep my laptop at the height I want it at for a duration of timeIs it more difficult to adjust than others yes but other stands won’t hold up the test of time. This will be difficult to manage if let’s say you have arthritis or don’t have the hand strength but for someone like me I just want the stand to hold its position.The only thing I could possibly doing it for is the padding could be a bit thicker I would be concerned if I had this at an extreme angle that the front of my laptop may get scratched or too much weight on the edges but there is padding just feel that could be a bit thicker and more tactile. The color on it is maybe 10mm thick so it can be scratched so just keep that in mindbut overall it’s durable it’s designed for it’s purpose i don’t want it going anywhere.They also include an allen wrench and two screws with no explanation of what those are for but those are just replacement screws if you need themat least i think that’s what they are for. would be nice if they explained it but overall solid productmay not be for you if your constantly adjusting your laptop though but its perfect for someone like me who wants it at the same height 99 percent of the time
5.0 out of 5 stars Not the intended purpose and maybe extreme but...
So I used this as a pc mixing stand that I bolted with washers to a peg board. This was to free up desk space and route the wires more easily. The extension function is helpful to bring it closer if it need to mess with it while streaming and then move it out of the way when I'm done with it. It's very sturdy and has little play in it's tolerances but if you need it to be stronger you can adjust the rigidity of the stand by tightening the bolts of the stand. The rotation also has a satisfying positive click as it moves which means it won't act like a lazy susan tray. It does have some good heft to it to where I wouldn't worry about tipping over even with the large base of the stand.

This is a great stand for me to set my laptop off to the side while using a larger screen. It took some effort to adjust the stand, but that demonstrates it being sturdy. The high adjustment is easy to use and holds well, however one side can feel loose. The swivel is solid, but I do not use that often. Can also use as a temporary stand for books and folders. Overall a great product!

I loved this so much, I purchased another one for my office. I train staff weekly via Zoom and this stand allows me to adjust my laptop to the perfect position. I highly recommend this. You just take it out the box and adjust it to the height you preder. It is sturdy and looks sleek. My co-workers love it too, and they have ordered this as well.

I was able to set up this stand in minutes. Easy to follow instructions and easy to adjust it the angle desired. The stand is sturdy and doesn’t not fall. Holds its position even with taking the laptop on/off throughout the day and at the end of each day. Let’s me adjust the laptop to the appropriate height for comfortable viewing and ideal posture (and matches the other monitors), while also providing a better camera angle.
Good Ergonomic Stand, Wish It Went Higher And Base Was Heavier
This is a pretty good laptop stand and is definitely more ergonomic and well built than some. I was still disappointed with a few things though. They aren't necessarily deal breakers, just things I wish were different that others may also have concerns about. It is well designed and made but might be more sturdy if they made the support columns attach in the centre of the swivel base and perhaps slightly more centrally attached on the top laptop platform vs the edges of the base and platform which was probably done that way for the collapsing/packing aspect. When the support arms are extended for maximum height and they are more upright instead of coming across the base like in a Z (which distributes the weight better) the stand can be a bit back heavy and might tip over if bumped accidentally with enough force. Not that the stand is wobbly though. it's actually quite light overall which is nice but because it's aluminum the base isn't as heavy as it would be if it was made with steel. Another thing that disappointed me was the height. I measured before purchasing so I had an idea of what it would be like but I wish it would adjust a bit higher to have the laptop screen more eye level when standing so that I wouldn't have to look down. It's a good height for the laptop keyboard when standing though and I do have a second monitor that I can use to have a more eye level screen when standing but something that others/taller people might want to keep in mind when ordering. If needed I'll make or find/buy a riser stand for the base to extend it's height range for when standing. With the stand on a taller desk/table the height should be much more adequate for standing purposes. Also, the stand still wobbles slightly when typing when extended to full height but is more stable side to side than another stand I just purchased and reviewed that had a single height/support column. Vale el precio. Es de terminaciones buenas y buen material, el mecanismo para girar funciona bien y tiene pinta de ser duradero. Lo volvería a comprar.
SOPORTE MUY BUENO
Tengo un portátil antiguo (17 pulgadas) por lo tanto pesado y lo tenía en un soporte que compré muy barato pero que al final no soportaba el peso e incomodidad para trabajar. Con este soporte si me soporta su peso y me permite trabajar sin problemas, tanto en las videollamadas como en escritura, aunque es muy pesado de peso pero le da mucha estabilidad. Vale la pena por su estabilidad y buen material. Totalmente recomendable.
