    This pulley is meeting the needs of my light application. But I'd be concerned if used for a heavy application. Then wheels do not have ball bearings and the metal hub rotates on a metal shaft. Be sure to lubricate.

    Well made. No concerns loading up to rating. Sleeve bearing, unlubricated. Easy to disassemble and add a dab of grease to bearing surfaces. Runs easy and smooth then. Would buy again if needed.

    double sheaves are very handy for all kinds of things but the 400lbs weight limit is just too low for the obvious use, the 4-1 advantage. almost anyone can put >100lbs of force on a rope just by accident. the same (actual) manufacturer makes much more practical and safer laminated versions.

    Poor quality shows up due to the pulley do not turn easily and that requires the rope cable to slide around the pulley
