This wooden basket steamer looks nice and is also incredibly functional. Right off the bat, I noticed its sturdy build and the convenient handle that made handling over steam safe and easy. Each tier comfortably fits about four big buns, making it perfect for family meals or meal prep for the week.One of the standout features is the metal ring adapter included. This little addition allows the steamer to fit securely on any pot I have, which means no more juggling pots and pans trying to find the right fit. The reusable silicone lining is another thoughtful touch, making clean-up a breeze and ensuring my steamer stays in top condition.Using it for the first time, I was impressed by how evenly and efficiently it cooked my food, retaining the flavors and nutrients better than any cooking method I've used before.This bamboo steamer has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools. It's easy to use, versatile, and the quality is outstanding for the price.

Exactly what we needed in our kitchen. The versatility and quality are on point. No worries or burning yourself by accident due to the handles on the side. So I bought the regular and non premium set. It comes with 2 steamer bins + a lid. It is high quality construction! You use it by putting this adapter ring on some sort of water boiling vessel and then placing the baskets on top of the metal adapter ring.The adapter ring dimensions per my photo:it's about 6.35" for the inner circle in diameter11.25" from edge to edge in diameterThis means as long as you have a pot that is within 6.35"-11.25" in diameter, you steam food with the adapter ring.To use, because it is a permeable form factor being bamboo, you can just keep the water boiling instead of having to taper down the temperature like with an impermeable steel basket + lid.It comes with 4 silicone food grade safe 10" diameter mats for cooking! Silicone is the same material on parchment paper.A few things related to care:The manufacturer wants you to let the steamer air dry for 2 days prior to storage after rinsing with soap and water.Because bamboo is similar to wood in that it will absorb moisture, do NOT let it soak in water for more than 5 minutes. You can also apply wood oil to it once it is dry to prolong life.Not dishwasher safe or microwave safe.Try to keep 1"-1.5" of space between dumplings so when they expand they do not stick to each other.The handles on each individual basket is heatproof with silicone wrapped around metal. It's awesome.

I wanted a steamer to make dumplings with my son. This one was reasonably priced and worked well. It is easy to clean and seems to be holding up after several uses. I do recommend leaving it out to thoroughly dry before putting it away.

I purchased the steamer set with two baskets, top, ring, and silicone matts. The steamer works very well but I ran into the issue where the insulation on the handle became melted. (I should have used a taller pot to keep the steamer further from the heat.) The steamer would have worked fine but I reached out to the company about the issue. They were very good about helping me with the my concern, sending a replacement. I've uploaded a card that came with the steamer set. It describes their core principles. They seem to live up to these standards, and although I don't write many reviews I wanted to tell my experience to thank them for it. Bamboo steamers are common, but this one is well built and backed by compassionate, human, customer service. I highly recommend it.

The only con I can think of is that there were some wood splinters coming off the steamer, which made cleaning it with a sponge a little difficult.Other than that, the product has been great for the past 2-3 times that I've used it. I've been using it to make steamed buns, and I've gotten a hang of how to arrange the buns such that they don't stick to the edges of the steamer. I'm still figuring out the appropriate ratio of dough to filling, to prevent the buns from leaking during the steaming process and getting all over the steamer. The silicone liners are very useful, as they minimize how dirty the steamer itself gets. The bamboo material of the steamer seems sturdy. The handles on the sides and the metal adapter ring were good design choices.All in all, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase.

We were looking for steamer baskets after getting a wok and learning to make dumplings but heard stories of wok going dry and burning baskets. With the ring we can fill a larger pot and not have to worry or check water level. The silicone inserts are a life saver so we don’t have to keep cutting parchment and they can go in the dishwasher! Fits together really well, just make sure your flame isn’t bigger than the pot we did this accidentally which heated the ring so much our baskets got a little scorched. It was our fault though since the flame was too big! We have been using them a lot and they work super well even everything. Would definitely buy these again when our current ones fail or we need more than two baskets 🙂
