Works well but be careful not to over fill with beads bv the WILL fly everywhere. Rookie mistake. The needle is very fragile so keep it in a safe place so it doesn't break or bend. I love the extra dishes to make it easy to switch colors without emptying each time.Great for beginners and experts. Easy to use and small enough to store in a drawer or cabinet.

My granddaughter turned 11 today! She already has a bead spinner and makes adorable necklaces and bracelets; she sells them at her school and has a little business going. I got her this especially for the extra dishes that hold the beads, so she can have several colors ready to go, or to mix, and get her items made quicker. I considered am electric one, but she said she didn't want one. I think the hand spinning is half the fun? She is my only granddaughter, so she gets gifts also because she is a really nice person, or because it's Tuesday, or no reason at all. I may get her another one for when she has more than one friend spend the night; the girls enjoy making jewelry while watching the Barbie movie for the 78th time! Lol! This package was delivered right on time, as they almost always do. And the delivery person puts it right where we like our pkgs. We don't have a porch thief problem, like some areas, thankfully. This is my second bead spinner and so far it works great, but the needles it comes with are really flimsy and don't work that well This bead spinner might give first time bead spinner buyers a little bit of a hard time but it is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. the only thing is that if you add your beads then spin it really fast then put your needles in it will fling beads everywhere so be careful of that but over all a great bead spinner.

I read quite a few reviews that stated the beads would fly out. I didn’t have this problem at all. I poured the packet of pink beads into the bowl, placed the needle and let it “float” just under the surface. I spun the bowl counterclockwise and used my left hand to hold the needle. The included pic is my very first attempt at using the bead spinner and it’s everything I hoped for! My projects will go so much faster now!UPDATE: My earrings that used to take an hour to make, took 12-15 minutes with the bead spinner. I’m so thrilled!

I’m a crafter and can’t spend hours beading so I got this to hurry things along. At first I’d get two or three beads on the wire then as I pulled the wire away from the bowl the beads would go flying off. After several hours of learning curve I was able to get about a dozen beads on the wire. I would still lose some of those transferring the beads onto my work. I’m still not sure if I will keep it as I’m finished with my beading project. It may live on the shelf with the other gadgets I’ve bought that aren’t very helpful.

This product far exceeded my expectations, largely due to all the little extras included in the box. It came with 15 baggies of different colored seed beads, a couple of small spools of wire/thread, and some jewelry making notions (clasps and those circle things). The bead spinner works really well too - I have been using it for bead embroidery.

My daughter we using these beads without the help of something like this and she was struggling and the craft was becoming laborsome versus fun. This really helped and she loves it. It's easy to use and easy to clean up.

I bought this for my daughter’s birthday and she loved it! But then about 2 weeks in it just stopped spinning and I can’t figure out why. It doesn’t look like anything is missing but I can’t find a picture of the bottom to make sure.
