This cutter will cut your plank flooring with ease! Will not cut planks lengthwise. A table saw was quickest tool for that. Assembly was easy and fast. Once I started laying flooring fast, I needed this cutter for every row. It's fast, accurate, somewhat quiet compared to a saw and much much cleaner than any other tool I used to cut my planking. Reasonably priced and couldn't find anything comparable in the big box stores. Was worth the return on investment. Blade is very sharp and didn't wear out on the job of laying 400 square feet of LVT. I would buy again. I don't think you will be disappointed if you purchase this tool.

Purchased this to install vinyl flooring in our upstairs. Makes cutting the flooring quick, simple, and accurate. The cutter is well made, feels solid, made of aluminum (blade is steel). Worth the purchase price for the time it saves. This cutter is only intended for cutting the flooring to length. For other cuts, I've used a utility knife for ripping narrow strips, and an oscillating saw for complex angle cuts and notches.

Can't go wrong with this. Performed great and made life a lil easier for me. Highly recommend. Had one from floor and decor that was hard to use. Hurt my hands and had to use muscle. It broke on me. Once I got this one it made the whole job go smoother. Super easy to use and move around.

This worked great for what we needed it for when we did laminate flooring in our home. Had to be careful on what side you cut the pieces or else it would chip the laminate. We either flipped it to the bottom side up or put painters tape on the piece as not to damage the flooring. It was easy to assemble. Like the safety feature of the chain.

Has wheels so you can move it around, easy to use, snaps board in half. Im female and it didn't take too much strength to use. I like it because Im no good using power tools and saws.

No dust; quick cuts or breaks; fairly clean edge...Only small gripe is it takes a bit to get exact; the cut position is not overly obvious and takes a bit to get used to. Does require some muscle on larger laminate floors

The only ding i had was i did not receive any instructions for putting this together. Luckily, i was able to figure it out from the picture. I see the user manuel available on here, but for the price i think i should have recieved that or at least put together instructions. I used this today to cut 1/4 inch thick barn boards for shiplap. These boards were easy to crack using an electric saw. However, this mighty chopper cut them fast and no cracks or frays. It was also much faster!! Next i will be using it to cut vinyle planks for the floors. I love the safty chain as i have nosy cats that have already sit on it. This is a great time saving tool if you plan to do alot of cutting, and i do!
