The media could not be loaded. So far so good with these Uni-ball One 0.38mm pens. Bought a box of 12 for just under $11. I like fine-tip pens, but it’s sometimes tough to find them, especially ones that work well. Thus far, these have produced nice, fine lines and have good ink flow. The ink hasn’t smudged at all, even on paper types (thermal imaging) that I typically struggle writing on with certain pens. I might also order the .5mm style to see how those write, but for now I’m loving these.The pens also look good. Simple design. They’ve even made it difficult to see where the upper and lower portions meet. Yes, they unscrew from each other and you can replace the ink cartridges when they run out (if that’s your thing).The metal clip is very cool and doesn’t have any edges on it that might trash the pen pocket inside my suit jacket. Fun to fidget with as well.

My handwriting is atrocious; however, I find it is because I tend to apply a lot of pressure when I write using larger ball point pens. Once I switched to smaller sized ball points, my hand writing greatly improved. Now it was just a matter of finding a good set of small ball point pens that were good value for the money, and these fit the bill perfectly!The flow is great, understand though being a smaller ball point you can’t just sling this pen around at great speed and expect it doesn’t skip. If you write at a good steady space though, it will write smoothly without any breaks in the pen markings.These pens are light weight, and feel very soft and smooth in the hand. This may come across as ‘cheap’ feeling to some, but personally I find it comfortable.Overall if you are looking for a set of affordable fine ball point pens, I recommend these!

I use this at work a lot and it writes easily on the shiny labels that we use at work. It doesn't smudge either! It's perfect for the laboratory setting and I write on everything.

I really like the design and feel of these pens, and they are offered at a really good price. The rubberized grips are comfortable and the metal clips are very nifty and durable.As others have mentioned, the ink is very black and dries quite quickly. However, these pens do tend to skip on occasion and sometimes have a 'scratchy' feel while writing. This may be due, in part, to the ultra-fine tip and the low-quality notebook paper that I am using. The problem seems to go away when writing on different paper or when writing more slowly.Once I use up all of these (which may take a while), I plan to buy some more, but with a wider tip to see if they write more consistently.

I love this pens and I love that they write so small as I need very fine lines in my profession. The only thing that bothers me is if I write on a surface these pens do not like (like wax or something similarly coated) the pen is destroyed and is unusable after that. The roller ball is so tiny that any kind of hiccup makes it unusable. Other than that I love how long these last and the lines look great!

Super great 0.38mm pen!
I've always had trouble finding the right pens because I tend to write very small. Most of the pens I've used before smudge easily, and the lines are too thick, making my writing hard to read. It was frustrating and made note-taking a hassle.When I found these pens, I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is excellent, and they last a long time. The fine tip allows me to write neatly and fit much more on a single sheet of paper, which is incredibly helpful for school. Plus, the ink doesn't smudge, keeping my notes clean and legible.The pens arrived in perfect condition, exactly as described. The ink flows smoothly, and the pens are comfortable to hold, even during long writing sessions. For the price, they are worth it. The value you get for such a reasonable cost is super nice (especially in this economy).I'm so happy with these pens that I decided to buy the colored version too. I’m a nurse so pens are a BIG thing for me. I used to use muji pens but couldn’t justify needing to buy them at $2 a piece individually. Saw these and liked that they were the same small point. And they’re basically the same if not better as they’re clicky! Love the spring hinge of the clip too to tuck into my pants or pockets. They also do not bleed through my papers. Will buy again once mine all run through!
