I love how thorough the Mira monitor is compared to others on the market. It's user friendly and had an app to go along with it.First time using Mira, I got pregnant. Unfortunately, I had an early miscarriage, but I am confident it won't take long with Mira on my side!

I want to preface my review by saying that I do appreciate this device and what it is capable of. However, I've gone through 2 and a half batches of test wands at this point and in every batch I have had multiple failed test wands or bad tests. I've had to reach out to customer service, which takes days to get back in touch, in order to reach a resolution and have bad tests removed. I recommend following their video tutorials and making sure you really read the instructions to insure you don't waste any wands but even if you follow everything to T you may still have bad wands or issues with test results. Like I had a test result that would have indicated I had a serious medical issue and it ended up being a bad test. I ended up talking to some other people who have had the same experience.It's a new technology that is amazing to have in terms of knowing more about yourself but my recommendation is to confirm your test results by running it side-by-side with another OPK. If both tests indicate low, medium, high LH then you could probably safely assume the results Mira gave you are accurate but otherwise you have no way of knowing how truthful it is without looking at other data inputs. So whether you are trying to conceive or avoiding it I wouldn't rely only on this Mira device.Another issue is that the app is obviously run by an algorithm which means bad test results can skew what the app tells you are your most fertile days or when to expect your cycle because of this I really urge people to take the app with a grain of salt. It's a good resource but do not rely solely on just the app and this device to give you the full picture.So to break it down on why it's 3 stars and not 4 or 5 or 1: Customer service is slow. Resolution with removing bad data is slow. The app is buggy. You can enter your temp but it may not be there tomorrow. So data lost. I recommend recording temp elsewhere. You have to enter a password every time you want to access the app as well. Annoying. Test wands are finnicky, expensive, and non-reliable. Some test wands in every batch will fail. You cannot rely just on this device. This is a hefty price point and you need to confirm data to be sure if you want to really pinpoint your ovulation. I'm sure overtime the app's bugs will be resolved and the tech will improve and so on. For now, it's an investment and I recommend not putting all your eggs in once basket. If you get this device I hope you enjoy it, but please keep these things in mind so you won't be disappointed.

I originally started buying these Mira sticks because I wanted to start tracking my period, which was regular for the most part. I continued using it because I knew that eventually my husband and I would want a baby. The first time I used these sticks and was ready to get pregnant, it happened. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to get pregnant. The whole Mira system is pricey, but it is worth every dollar. I never has infertility issues, but once you reach a certain age, docs start scaring women so I didn't want to waste time. I know it may not work for everyone, but if we want another baby, I will be relying on these sticks. Last bit of advice...make sure you soak the stick long enough in your urine or you will get an error for your reading. I have wasted a few sticks, but I think I have it down to a science now. For those of you wanting to get pregnant- good luck!

After using my oura ring + natural cycles app for 3-4 cycles without getting pregnant I felt like I needed more information besides BBT and LH strips. My friend told me about Mira and I love that you get actual numbers not just a strip that is sometimes hard to read and you can compare against what a normal cycle would look like. I’ve only used it for one cycle and am staring my second and found that it doesn’t boost my fertility (of course) and the fertile days seems to match my natural cycles app so not sure it will help me get pregnant any quicker but I do enjoy the hard numbers as a Type A who loves researching and having lots of information! The price is quite high for the strips though especially since you need a new one every cycle. $100 a month is a lot to add to one’s budget but if this is a priority for you it’s worth it to see the hard data on your body!

For use with the Mira. Easy to use. You get the disposable sample cups supplied too which is great. Expensive. These do have an expiry date.
50% of the wands haven’t worked!
Used 6 wands and so far 3 have not worked. Have been using Mira wands for 8 months and never had an issue when buying directly. Very disappointed considering the cost of each wand. Sorry to say that I wouldn’t buy from this seller based on this experience.Update: Mira customer service contacted me directly to resolve the issue so increased rating from 1 star to 4 stars.
Very short expiry date, beyond which they won’t work.
The expiry date on the pack I received was within a month of when they arrived. These wands are to identify ovulation and you’ve got a rough idea of when that’s likely, so there’s little chance you’ll use 20 that quick!Once it’s past that date, they longer work in the machine so they become useless.It seems to be a racket, but people will spend what they can if there’s a chance it’ll help them conceive when they’re struggling.Bolo did refund the purchase when asked, so it’s not all bad.
