I was initially disappointed with the fact that it was smaller than the one it replaced but after I got it in, it was fine. The pump works very easily and the soap shoots out the end so it goes right where I need it.Installation was very easy - just thumb tighten the under counter screw and screw the bottle to the under counter portion. The hard part was filling the reservoir from the top. With or with the funnel, the dish soap bubbles and the liquid overflows very easily. I put the extra straw in the Palmolive Ultra Strength Liquid Dish Soap bottle and then inserted the straw down into the pump reservoir. That worked fine except I could not tell how full it was. Next time i will measure out the soap and hopefully find a bottle i can insert the extra straw into.

I have had to replace this piece a million times with the original expensive one it would break and was hard to push . But this product right here pushes with ease, and doesn't squirt to far I Love it.

If it was not for the silver colored look, I could give it five stars. Only with water stains does the color become more like brushed nickel like in the photos provided in this review. It is not a solid metal piece and it is a thin piece of metal over plastic which is acceptable for a soap dispenser if the color matched. It does come with a silicone collapsible funnel to make it easier to refill the soap dispenser and I wished all other manufacturers would include this funnel. The hard plastic bottle that goes underneath the sink is thicker than the thin plastic bottle normally found in other dispensers. It was also easier to install with the hard plastic bottle.I was debating to return this due to the color not being close to what other manufacturers call brushed nickel and I am hoping the water stains will become permanent to make it look like brushed nickel. The two star deduction was for the color issue and that it also stains easily with water.
