I first ordered the 4 pack of these lights about a year ago and I loved them, and recently splurged to replace all of the lights in my house with Govee lights. As a very light sensitive person, I truly think this is the best money I have spent to level up my home environment. I have had other LED lights, but the apps and the controls are nowhere near what the Govee apps allow you to do!You can control the brightness and color, as well as choose from the standard range of bright to warm white lights; and there is a full library of pre programmed functions and 'scenes' such as Crackling Fire, Galaxy or Party, where thee colors change, brighten and dim, and this can be coordinated among any group of lights throughout a room or your entire house.One of my favorite features that I only recently began to fully utilize is the Automation, and Timers which allows you to set the timing for lights to turn on/off or change colors; for example, I have 4 lights overhead in my bedroom and a 3 lights in a lamp in the corner, and I programmed them to slowly turn on one at a time over a 25 minute period when it is time for me to start waking up; My overhead lights turn on to be red, and the corner lamp turns on to be blue. As somebody who used to be a night owl but has adopted the new habit of waking up anywhere from 5 to 6 am, controlling the light levels and using them to help me wake up in the morning when it's still dark outside has been pivotal in helping me to make the change. At night my living room lights turn to red when it's time to start winding down and getting ready to feel tired.They are not natively set up to run with Siri commands (I don't have Alexa or Google Home) however you can set up various 'tap-to-run' automations and add a Siri shortcut to each of those, which may take a bit longer to set up for each individual function you want to make a shortcut for but once set up it is truly amazing to just say hey Siri, turn blue lights on or Hey Siri, turn all lights off; which you could obviously customize to be whatever phrase or command you want.TLDR; Overall I LOVE these lights and would definitely buy them again! Quality, Functionality, Automation, Timers and Seamless Integration throughout my house I give them an A++!

I really like the Govee Smart Lights because they’re super customizable and easy to use. Being able to change the color and settings through the app on my phone is such a game-changer. The app is really efficient and fast, which makes the whole experience even better. I love how quickly it responds when I adjust things like brightness, color, or effects—it’s basically instant. The setup was also super simple, and I liked how straightforward it was to connect the lights to my phone. Plus, I can sync them with music or set up timers, which is a cool extra feature. The fact that they work with Alexa or Google Assistant is a bonus because I can use voice commands when I’m too lazy to grab my phone. The only downside I’ve noticed is that the lights aren’t as bright as I’d like them to be. They’re great for creating ambiance or mood lighting, but they don’t really work if you need strong lighting for something like reading or working. I wish they were just a bit brighter. Still, for what they are, they’re pretty awesome, and I’d definitely recommend them for anyone who likes to set a vibe or customize their space.

Again these Govee products shine!I hesitated for a year on buying these bulbs. I had read a couple of other reviews that said that they would not work fully with Alexa. That the colour changing options did not work through the app. But when they went back on sale, I thought I'd give them a go, and just use the app to do colour changes. In fact, I am pleased to say that they fully and easily integrated with Alexa and voila! Full colour and brightness controls are there. Nice.My previous experience with Govee products was with a few of the LED tape systems. And as with those, you are first impressed with the packaging, and instructions. You sense that Govee makes an effort to put forth a premium product and user interface.My next pleasant surprise was the brightness. The 8 standard LED bulbs that were in my living room ceiling fixtures were of "60 watt equivalent ". I don't know the lumen rating, but they surely were not bright enough. I expected not much better from these lamps, but hoped... When they fired up, the difference in light level was very significant. I'd say 30% or more. Perfect. So much so that I instantly ordered 10 more to illuminate our photo studio. An 1100 square foot room with 21 foot ceilings that also suffered from inadequate light levels. Again, perfect! And to now be able to ask Alexa to light them up in a range of colours and brightness adds so much to the rooms. Pick a colour, light level, and mood is set.The app is fairly straightforward. Well laid out, and going through the process with the Alexa app is a tick tedious if making large groups like I did, but no problem. It's once and done.One bit of a quibble is that the dimming percentage available is far from what you think it will be. Yes, you can set or ask for any percentage you like. But the lowest that they will dim in actuality is maybe 30% or so. While that could be better, these are still very highly recommended.Toss 'em in and enjoy!
