I had been searching for an ice shaver so I could make snow cones for my kiddos during the hot summer. But I didn’t just want any ice shaver, I wanted one that has a more snow like texture rather than finely crushed ice. This shaver fits the bill. And it’s very heavy duty. I have made snow cones all summer and I love how quickly this machine shaves the ice. I searched for over a two weeks and finally settled on this because I wanted something affordable, durable and easy to clean and this machine is all of that and more. Easy to use and not as noisy as others. Great little late night find. I highly recommended. Performs great and I think it will last quite a while.

We received this over a month ago, and I should have unpacked then. Unfortunately I just opened it up to try it out and noticed a crack in the plastic base. It doesn't affect the way it operates but I'm worried it will get worse over time.

Poorly engineered and designed. The machine arrived with dull and chipped blades. Additionally, the machine acted as an ice "chunker" and not an ice "shaver". So I tried to remove the blades to sharpen and adjust - but the cutting head is pressed onto the motor shaft and is non-removeable. This means that it is VERY difficult to remove, sharpen, and adjust the blades for the proper ice grind.Furthermore, the "bowl holder" design is several inches below the ice chute which means that it is difficult to use an alternate bowl. Using the provided bowl GUARANTEES that ice chunks will be sprayed everywhere.The bottom line is that they could have spent an extra fifty cents and had a much better and user friendly product. I'm returning this one.

I’ve had this ice shaver machine since 2022. It has help up to occasional use for events like field day and picnics for 60+ kids and adults. I don’t like that it’s make of plastic because it may not hold up to heavy use. I tried to get the warranty to replace it but there was confusion on who should provide the replacement. Which technically should have been the company but they kept claiming Bolo had to replace it. I was having issues with pieces of black plastic falling out of the machine when it was running. Which is dangerous. I’m looking to replace this for something more sturdy but at this price point it’s a decent starter machine.
