This lace embossing folder is amazing. I couldn't stop making backgrounds. I used the "letter press" method, using a colored ink pad and applying the ink to the inside embossed side ( the side that has the image on it.). I placed a white cardstock piece and ran it through my big shot die and embossing machine. This resulted in a perfect white lace on a colored background. One could also try inking the reversed side for different look. My next background was made by embossing the image on white cardstock. I then used a black ink pad and applied ink directly to the embossed inage. This produced a stunning black lace on a white background. I next embossed a glossy paper that had a white core. I sanded the embossed image to reveal white lace on a sparkling background. One can use an emmory board or a sanding block to sand. This is one of the prettiest embossing folder that I own, and I have a vast collection. So worth the money.

This makes a beautiful card fast. The embossing is beautiful and if you go over it with a complimentary ink it really brings it to life. I used Memento Luxe ink’s wedding dress. I use this ink a lot for this technique it is a soft white color. The embossing folder is well made. I highly recommend this product.
