Was looking for a good-quality ethernet cable to use to send HDMI signals a long distance. This one seemed to fit the bill, and worked without issue (combined with an HDMI-over-ethernet transmitter and receiver). Sturdy, thick cable.

I needed to move my office to an upstairs bedroom and the wifi worked but was iffy in my house, had isuses going up and down. Wired is preferred anyways for work and running internally in my 100 year old house is not ideal with walls built on floors so forth, just not a very easy way to run it hidden. However drilling straight outside, then running this cable along the siding to a corner, down and into the lower room where the router is located was simple. So far the cable is doing it's job perfectly and anticiapte not issues with it set up this way.

The first order showed up early and I was able to get a head start running the cables for my security cameras. I ended up buying pass-through connectors and a different tool to crimp, however. The “practice” connections I made with the kit were fine but they just took too long. The tester did not work with the first order of this kit, however, it worked with the second kit I bought (needed more cable).
