5.0 out of 5 stars Spacious and Functional, but Assembly Could Be Easier
I recently set up the MELONFARM 4x8 Grow Tent for my indoor hydroponics, and so far, I’m really impressed with its performance. The high reflective 600D diamond mylar canvas does an excellent job of maximizing light efficiency, which is crucial for my plants. The size is perfect—there’s plenty of room for multiple plants, and the tent feels very spacious.I love the observation window; it allows me to check on my plants without having to unzip the entire tent, which minimizes disturbances. The included floor tray is also a nice touch, making cleanup much easier. However, I did encounter a few issues during assembly. The instructions could be clearer, and I found it a bit tricky to get everything set up correctly on my first try. Additionally, while the materials feel durable, I worry about the zippers holding up over time with frequent use.Overall, the MELONFARM Grow Tent is a great investment for anyone looking to grow plants indoors. It provides a solid environment for my hydroponics, just be patient during setup!
5.0 out of 5 stars 2×2×48
Perfect. Easily set up in 20 mins. Not 1 leak of light. Zippers are fine and secure, don't manhandle them. Sufficient vents for airflow as well as putting the cords thru, I would add a second one on the opposite side on the tent bottom lower wall otherwise you could be limited with positioning for outlet reach like I was. All an all this tent suits my small grow needs and is sturdy. My Temps and RH have been spot on too which I can see easily from the viewing window without opening the tent. I recommend this product by Melonfarm.
5.0 out of 5 stars For the price, nice
Everything went together smoothly, sure its not as nice as the nice stuff but it functions like it should. Do you really need the fancy hole for the control unit? Its happy sitting on top of the tent, it told me. The load sharing cross bars are not single pieces of metal but 4 pieces, 2 clicked together each bar, which kinda made me question its ability but it seems strong enough.
4.0 out of 5 stars good at the price
i don't normally write reviews. only if something really needs it. this does. number one, VERY thin vinyl, small tubing, only 2 upper supports. vinyl is thinner than on my cheap 3X 3 tent, same size tubes. however, I would still purchase another one at this price. if it tears,or zipper breaks, just buy new one. almost half the price as other brands.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality, Easy to Setup!
I wanted to try a 2'x2' grow tent for seed starts and to propagate landscape plants. I'm quite happy with this one so far. Setup was straight forward and hooking up a grow light inside it was simple. The reflective material seems to work well enough, and it lets me dim my light noticeably lower than when not using a tent. If the zipper holds up for another few months, I'll probably order a second one.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good tent for the price.
The media could not be loaded. If your growing the medical green you will for sure want to avoid Photos and stick with autos due to light leaks.Corners are plastic and do not lock in so use Hvac tape / foil tape. Make sure all poles are secured in the corners and taped down and you want to install the tent laying down not standing up.Trust me it's easier. The corners not locking in is another reason people are having a issue with saying the frame does not fit the tent.Cross bars will not lay flush but once again use Hvac tape.Light leaks around the net vent and zipper area.Poles are think so if connecting a fan use once again some Hvac / foil tape on the pole then clip your fan in place.Window is nice.Zippers are good.Material is thick.Floor pan/mat does not have ties use velcro tape.Tent is sturdy.Versatility for this tent is great for many different types of plants as long as they don't need a 100% darkness. It for sure has a negitive air release so it stays air tight when vents are closed.Great vent placement.6 vents total.1 ontop1 mid left side.1 mid right side.1 lower right side.1 upper back.I will update after a few weeks if I hit any complications.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product
This tent worked great for our first attempt at home grown goods and I am greatly pleased with the results. Has good circulation with just fans and a humidifier. Would recommend this to anyone looking for something of good quality and a reasonable price.
4.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected for the price
Tent is actually nicer than I was expecting it to be at this price point. Canvas walls are heavier than expected and stitching and zippers are fine. The frame poles are metal, the corners plastic. Poles are not very rigid when assembled, so I used a little electrical tape at the joints to help firm them up. Frame fit into tent just fine, but I did need to use a rubber mallet to set the poles all the way into the corner pieces. Went together quickly and easily. We’ll see how it holds up.
Guter Zustand 👍🏻
A great value
The tent is big… I know I saw the dimensions but it is big. Good quality material and easy to set up.The only thing is the zippers… They are good zippers but when closing them make sure you put your finger in to push the flap out of the way.Overall I’m really happy
WOW!
I have a 60"x60"x70" Vivosun Grow tent. It was my first tent and had a few Pin holes that I had to fix. Over all it has been a good tent. But I decided I needed more room so now my son will get the Vivosun. And I ordered This 96"x48"x80'' MelonFarm Tent that is absolutely amazing compared to the Vivosun.. Better material, No pin holes, easy to assemble, $40 cheaper then the Vivosun and twice the tent! I am sure that a Gorilla Tent is the next step.. but I can't understand why you would spend 7 times the money! Dark is Dark right? I am 110% satisfied!
Does the job
Very thin, yet sturdy tent. Many pinholes, mostly around the stitching. Luckily this doesn’t affect me, but could disappoint others. Pretty decent value for the money
Love this tent
The media could not be loaded. Love this tent . Easy to install. Might need a hand for the 4x8x8 though. Had plenty of ports and vents . Canvas is nice and thick and the reflective side is really shiny compared to my other grow tent. Very good product for the price
