For months, I have resisted buying a bamboo steamer to make shumai. I tried to make do with a metal steamer basket and a glass lid but got soggy dumplings that got cold because I could only make them in batches. I finally caved and bought this steamer. My shumai are nearly perfect as the ones you get at a dim sum. The 10 inch baskets fit over my wok, but I only steam them one level at a time because the top tier wouldn't get as hot as quickly. It's not a big deal. If I had a larger pot, I could steam two levels at once. But the baskets are so capacious it's super easy to do two batches. I love the paper liners and the accessories!

The product is well made and included some additional pieces of equipment for eating dumplings. It is well made, sturdy, and supports cooking a large number of dumplings at a time. Good value for the money.

I love potsticker and dumplings and wanted to experience a more authentic cooking method other than boiling or pan frying. I purchased this specifically to make soup dumplings and this delivered. It came with four sets of chopsticks and one small sauce bowl plus two cheesecloth liners and a number of disposable one use liners. This easily set right over our wok filled with boiling water and cooked the dumplings to perfection. Easy to rinse and clean. Good value for the price.

The media could not be loaded. I love it! Used it twice the first weekend I got it. The accessories are very useful. Apparently my Bao shaping skill still needs improvement. Should’ve gotten this earlier!!
