5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps coffee hot!! Great cup!!
I wanted a durable coffee mug bc I tend to break glass or ceramic ones so I ordered this one so it would not break. As an amazing added bonus this cup keeps your coffee warm for over 2hrs!! I was surprised at how long it was staying hot. It is a perfect size for the amount of coffee I like for one cup with room for my creamer. The lid stays on tight and the slide on the lid is very smooth and easy to open and close without it getting stuck or hung up while doing it. It does come with 2 hard plastic straws and a pipe cleaner. I did not realize the straws were plastic and not metal before I chipped the end of one. Not a deal breaker bc I have severaI metal ones and I do not use one with my coffee. I definitely recommend this cup!
5.0 out of 5 stars Keeps hot things hot and cold things cold.
Better than the plastic one we were trying to replace. Little big for some cup holders.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good for the price
You would expect something like this to last more than a week but, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. I LIKE the mug, I really, really do - and I am going to use it anyway. The metal canister and handle are great - keeps beverages hot or cold as stated - and it doesn't sweat! The mugs (I ordered two) arrived on the 15th - it is now the 22nd ... one week - and the little slider thingy in the cap just broke -- or more accurately, the little lip that kept it in the groove to slide back and forth just slipped off the rails and can't be put back on. Yes, the "leakproof" feature is shot - but I will just try not to carry it upside down or knock it over. The fact that it is cylindrical helps, so it is not top-heavy.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good product!
Kept my coffee hot for hours. Beautiful color, would recommend!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent value ...
My commute is very short -- from my kitchen to the living room -- but I'm also mobility challenged and need a rollator to move from room to room, and I need both hands to maneuver the rollator. Transporting an open cup of hot coffee without spilling or splashing was a huge challenge. So I decided to look for an obvious solution: a commuter mug with a lid that was as leak-proof as possible. Saw this one, read the description and reviews, and decided it might work for me.It does -- brilliantly! No more splish/splashing coffee. And it keeps it hot for a very long time. Seriously -- I made my current cup at 8:15AM this morning. It's now 12:26PM -- over 4 hours later, and the coffee is still piping hot.No negatives that I can see so far -- I've had it for a few weeks, use it daily, and see no issues at all. I hand wash and dry it after use each day with no problems. Highly recommended!
3.0 out of 5 stars Good mug, terrible lid.
Every one of these imported mugs has the same issue with the lid. You need to remove the sliding drink hole cover and drill the vent hold larger. If you do not, the hole will plug and the sliding cover will retain whatever you drank last time to re-enjoy. There is NO WAY to clean under this type of slider.Look at my picture. Take a screwdriver and pop that slider off, get rid of it, before it becomes laden with bacteria underneath. Once done, you will have a decent mug with a good sized hand hole.
5.0 out of 5 stars Oh boy...
OK guys, I'm an old man and I have bought many insulated cups. What I can tell you about this one is, as far as keeping hot drinks hot I would say it's about on par with most anything else that I have used. However, when it comes to keeping cold things cold it is the best by far that I have ever used. Buy this and you'll never go back to whatever it is you're using now.
1.0 out of 5 stars Literally the Worst Travel Mug I’ve Ever Had
I’m looking at all of these reviews with good ratings and wondering if I got a faulty one? I’ll list everything I hate about this mug:1) Doesn’t fit in any cup holder. When I viewed the images I thought it would, but it’s too fat for all of them. The ones that have a little give that I might be able to jam it into, the handle gets in the way.2) Absolutely definitely for certain NOT leak proof. Which makes the cup holder thing more of an issue, because if I try to wedge it between some items on my passenger seat, it will 100% fall over and I’ll have coffee all over the seat.3) The mouth of the lid isn’t big enough. Maybe it works for people who drink black coffee, but I add cream, sugar, and collagen. This isn’t an issue with my other similarly designed mugs, but with this one, when I tilt the mug the coffee moves over the opening and then sits there precariously while I try to entice it to come out, until it bursts through and causes a mess. I now have to try to tilt it just enough for me to try to slurp it through, which I’m sure is lovely for all of my coworkers to listen to.4) because of the above issues, there’s no way for me to drink from it without dribbling coffee down the side of the mug or onto my shirt. It comes out from under the “leak proof” lid and gets everywhere.I hate, hate this mug. The only reason I’ve used it this long is that I kept thinking maybe I was wrong about it. But it’s going in the trash today.
Very disappointed
Love the color & size of the cup, but coffee doesn't stay hot in it
