This did a decent job and I already have some other planned uses for it. I'd used them before at work (not these but a much more expensive set) and knew the advantage of ferrules over loose wires. I crimped some ferrules on some 8AWG wire for a trolling motor plug I was installing and it made a nice crimp. For me it was a 2-handed thing to close them fully on these big ferrules. But that was not an issue. I coudl get them pretty tight with one hand but at 62 my strength is not what it once was. So 2 hands to finish. The only thing I wish was that they would go up to 4AWG because I had some in that gauge I was not able to do with these. For the money I felt it is a bargain. These were the first ones I've used that do a square instead of hex crimp but for the purpose I got them for the square was the way to go.

Happy I didnt just buy the first one I found on here. The price of this is similar if not cheaper and it also has a case/housing for you tool and fittings. Used for some speaker wires and it turned out great.

I’ve been using this for wiring when you should be placing bare wire in connection points. This cleans up your wiring quicker and easier then soldering. It works great the hexagon crimp works better for round terminals but the square crimp can run larger gauge wiring.

Using all the time when work with stranded wires. Comes with variety of connectors which don't get mixed up when stored away properly!

When using stranded wire, this is an important tool. I was using non ferruled wires and destroyed and controller due to a wire shorting between the connectors. Learned a good lesson. The crimper is well built and gives a good mechanical advantage in crimping. If you don't have strong hands, this should work fine. The connectors are in the same package as the crimper. Little disappointed to get connectors for such tiny wires. Usually don't find these with strands. If they do, they don't handle the high current that damages electronic equipment. I think they should have omitted the tiny connectors.

El producto definitivamente es más de lo que esperas. Ya use las pinzas de corte y funcionando perfecto, las pinzas de pensado hexagonal también funcionan perfecto. La construcción es robusta. Tengo algunas pinzas de Knippex, Würth y definitivamente puedo decir que se acerca a la calidad que esas marcas ofrecen, claro por el triple de precio solo por una herramienta y en este caso es todo un Kit.Se las RECOMIENDO, no lo duden.
