My 8 year old grandson rated it 5 stars. He put it together by himself. He said he can play with it along with his other cars he built. He really liked it. (He made two Lego tools to go with it - a flashlight and a policeman’s gun. Not included with car kit).

I bought this for my Lego-obsessed 6 year old and he was very excited. I think it would make a great gift for a 5+ year old. Lego is pretty much always spot on with the age appropriateness and this one is no exception. It wasn't missing any pieces. The instructions were easy to follow, as always with the Lego brand. I'd say it's a great value because it's uncomplicated enough that you can build it again and again or just please with it once assembled. The pieces all for well together and the moving parts all move as they should.

Easy to assemble
This fun and easy to assemble. My son just follow the instructions and he build it by himself. It’s great for toddler who need to practice finger coordination.
