It's a great product and works as intended, however, buy 2 sets and send back any that are bad! :)I purchased this as a gift and after putting it on a bottle, it removed the air. However, about every 7 minutes, it would kick on and remove the air again. Thinking it was odd, I removed it and looked at it closer. There was a nick in the plug that must have been causing the air to leak. It was a manufacturing defect as there's no way it was damaged during installation or shipment.The other one in the pack did not function this way. It removed the air, shut off, then didn't turn on again until it was removed and reinstalled.I got an authorized return and ordered another set. The brand new pack, both should be good, right? Wrong. One of those leaked as well (no defect in the plug)! The other was good, so between purchasing 4 total, I had 2 working perfectly, so I returned the 2 that weren't working properly.Now I have two that are great and you can hear the pop as if you were popping the cork for the first time. It's pretty amazing!

So far, we really love this. I noted that other reviewers said it didn’t work on screw top bottles. We haven’t tried it yet on screw tops so we don’t really know. I sure works great on regular bottles though. Very easy to use. Just put down on it until the green light appears.

Vacuum Wine Saver Pump - SilverI was excited to get this product as with the holidays coming and people stopping over I am always opening a white and a red but there is always some left over and it never stayed long. Now I am not wasting wine and saving money! I love the way it works automatically so I don’t need to worry. I got the silver it looks classy! Thinking about these for gifts for y sisters who also entertain a lot!

I’m very excited about this product. I want something that will help preserve the two bottles of wine that we open and want to preserve for more than two or three days. One of the devices might be defected because it is constantly airing out the oxygen; I have had to change the batteries three times since I made this purchase. I thought the issue was the seal around the bottle so I used a different bottle but the issue persisted. Truly, this product deserves a five star review but, I am about to run out of batteries with just one of the devices
