I'm really impressed by Beard & Bates' dedication to the quality of the product. The comb is beautifully crafted, the wood is smooth to the touch and is very fragrant. I could pick up the smell of the sandalwood before I'd even opened the box. It's my understanding that Beards & Bates are developing a leather sheath for this comb, which I'll also be snapping up.

First be aware that this is for facial hair. It needs the larger, thicker hair to work. Even then the teeth are a little on the big side with a lot of space between the teeth. It will work, particularly if you have a thick, full beard. Though a standard comb, or even a standard beard comb, will do a better job. Less so for head hair. But if you like playing Viking, this is a cool little novelty item to whip out.
