    My husband found out he had a wheat and soy allergy and I had to basically throw out my entire kitchen. the thing we missed the most was Korean food. (hubs is Korean) but we found this product and we can almost make the dishes exactly the same as before. I will say its not spicy, like at all. well maybe a little but only to those really intolerant to spice. I wish they had a much more spicy version. typing this review makes me crave ttebokki, gotta go make some.

    This is the best GF option for this sauce on the market! It’s a tad spicy so add less if you’re not into really spicy things! However, the flavor is great!!

    I have celiac disease, so it’s really nice to have gluten free gochujung available when I cook Korean dishes. Good flavor, and lasts a long time.

    The only reason I tried this brand, is due to a twist top jar. It's a hassle to scoop out from a plastic box and have it dry out quicker, as for the flavor, it's okay, I have my own preference, still, this good as gochujung goes. Oh, the seal on my jar had been peeled back! I am debating to use this. Bolo should let food stuff be exchanged if received damaged. Also, returning is not free, no pick up, so I have to spend $ for cab or ga

    Thick, salty, grainy, and an amazing flavor that's easily enjoyed by the spoonful. If you like spicy food though, this isn't what I would call spicy. I would rate it a little hotter than Frank's Red Hot, and nowhere near Huy Fong's sriracha sauce (the rooster sauce). I'm not complaining about the lack of spiciness, I was just expecting it to be more spicy. I am definitely looking forward to adding this to all sorts of things.

    We had a friend of my daughter come over who has gluten issues. This replacement was every bit as good as the normal version, and her friend was happy after a dinner of bulgogi (with gluten-free soy sauce as well).It makes one wonder why they bother with a wheat-based version in the first place. I have no personal gluten issues, but see no reason to not pick gluten-free Gochujang if it's available.
