5.0 out of 5 stars So happy to have this little tent
I have now used this tent for a total of 8 nights of outdoor camping and 1 night of indoor "quarantine" camping. Now that I've had some time in the tent, I feel like I have a pretty good handle on the pros and cons of the single layer tent.Pros:--Great price--Easy set up and takedown--Waterproof on the outside (I had one night of heavy rain and wind and my tent didn't leak!)--Spacious for one person plus a ton of gear--Huge door--Ability to take small rain fly off to vent the tent better--Nice color; I've gotten so many compliments on my little blue tent--Lightweight and very packable.Cons:--The poles are light but I question the quality for longterm use. I am gentle with them and haven't had any issues yet but I predict that they will be the first things that need to be replaced--I wish this tent had clips instead of feeding the poles through the sleeves. It's not particularly hard to shove them through but it can be frustrating when the sleeve gets caught on the pole.--The tent does not come with a footprint and it is hard to find one that fits. Night Cat says a footprint is not necessary but I'd be reluctant to go without.--You will need to vent this tent to avoid condensation when it's cold. I found that staking out the flap of the door and taking off the rain fly on a night without rain did the trick.--Stakes are a bit flimsy so I replaced those with some better stakes from REIOverall, I love this tent. I'm not an experienced camper and I'm pleased by this choice for my first tent. I hope to get much more use out of it while trying to stay outdoors and away from people during the pandemic!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good
It's amazing for when I go to the lake, I put my daughter in. It's light weight and easy set up and easy to put away. Good quality for the price.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good tent for blocking sun
We got this for our 11 month olds first trip to the beach. Overall pretty easy to assemble and definitely kept the sun off. It does get rather hot inside, so definitely recommend bringing a fan along and unzipping the windows. Not a bad product for the cost!
5.0 out of 5 stars So happy with this tent!
Extremely happy with this tent, particularly when compared to my previous one.My old tent had really skinny poles. The poles for this one are much more heavy duty. My old one required me to thread those poles through sleeves going across the tent, frequently it tore holes in those sleeves. And it took several minutes for me to thread the poles through those sleeves.Set up is so easy! Lay the tent flat on the ground. Put the poles in the four corners which have heavy metal grommets to hold it. Then grab the hook in the center of the tent, pull it up and fasten it to the pole. After that it’s barely a minute of connecting the other hooks to the poles. The tent is spacious and is also tall. I can put my chair inside the tent and have enough room to sit in it without hitting my head on the top of the tent. Note that I am 5‘8“ and if you are more than 6 foot you will probably not be able to do that.Teardown is easy, just disconnect the hooks from the poles, and it’s done. The tent comes with a carrying case, and to be honest there’s no way I can get it to fit back in there, but I had a small athletic bag that I use and it fits perfectly in there.Overall, I could not be happier than I am with this product!
5.0 out of 5 stars Good budget tent
I took this tent out on a weekend of sporadic torrential downpour in hopes that it would live up to its waterproof claim. The 3rd morning is only when I started to notice that the tent was beginning to lose the fight but it had held up surprisingly well against the water. I do reccomend getting a footprint or using a tarp underneath the tent (I did this and I dont think the floor would have stayed dry as long as it did without this). The material seems pretty sturdy but still pretty thin- not sure that I would reccomend using this in sub 40F temps. The stakes are basically useless so I replaced 4 of them with $1 9" stakes from walmart and that did the trick. The poles seem a little flimsy and could probably be replaced but I feel like as long as they are handled carefully when pitching and taking down they should be fine. It is also definitely not a 2 person tent. I am 5' 5" and had enough space for me, my sleeping pad and bag as well as my backpack but there was not enough room for more gear or another person. Overall, no major issues- seems to be a good little tent.
1.0 out of 5 stars very flimsy poles
After our pop up shelter finally died, we bought this bc of being tired of the origami hassle with refolding the pop up. Our camping tent has clips that make it super easy to set up, take down, and store and this shelter was the only one we could find with clip attachments. Super sad that the fiberglass poles are so flimsy and one was already broken upon arrival. Fabric is quite thin, zippers had split apart but we were able to rezip them, and the sewing was a bit unfinished in places. It was the perfect size and very light weight, but will be returning it and will keep looking as I can't imagine a replacement will be much different. Glad I wasn't at the beach before first opening it!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for a day at the beach
Sets up super easy! Sand slides off easily and stayed put even in the wind. Perfect for protecting from the sun.

A good single person tent, even if you are a taller/bigger dude.
Initially I thought this was one of those umbrella style pop up tents, but this is one of those CRISS CROSS POLES IN AN X kind of pop-up tents--but initial setup, even with one person is a very simple process. Like most dudes, I only glanced at the instructions but was able to set the tent up in about 5-10 minutes tops including securing all the stakes. I used and secured an Bolo BASICS tarp over the tent to protect against some heavy rain, and the tent stayed very dry. The tent is perfect as a roomy 1 person tent, but 2 or more people would definitely be a very tight fit---especially if storing your gear inside the tent. But for me, and i am a 6 foot 4, 225 plus pounds dude it was roomy enough inside the tent for me to at least be able to sit up and not be smashing my head on the tent ceiling and i could lie down comfortably and you can easily fit in a roll up inflatable sleeping pad inside the tent and have room for your gear. I used the tent for 5 straight days, and 4 nights and the only issue i had was that i initially set my tent up a little too close to a tree and had to shake off some caterpillers from the outside of my tent---other than that, tent stayed dry and was warm enough at night to be comfortable and reasonably cool/ventilated even during the hot days.I think this would make a great Summer and early Fall tent. Minimal condensation issues inside the tent and zippers, ventilation windows work well.Taking the tent down is also a fairly easy process, but definitely helps if you have one other person to help hold one end of the poles as you push the pole through from the other end. But this is definitely one of the easier tents to set up, take apart, and get back into it's own bag that i have used and is a great little tent for decent summer conditions and weekend/week away camping.
I loved it, it’s so easy to open and close
It’s soooo good
Great customer service
After using the tent a hand full of times the poles both cracked. I emailed the company about it and they speedily sent me replacement poles. I was very impressed with their helpfulness! The tent is great and keeps my kids happy longer at the beach.
Easy to assemble
I love it
