5.0 out of 5 stars Surprisingly Quiet, Exceptionally Efficient: A Year with My Dyson Fan
First, I've owned this for almost a year. And when I mean almost a year, I mean in three more weeks, it will have been a year. I have to say, in regards to this purchase, this device exceeded my expectations. Not only did it exceed my expectations, but a lot of the complaints I have heard, I don't see here. Or I don't hear, for example, the loud noise. This fan is just wonderful.And keep in mind, I am just getting ready to replace the filter now. It's at 4%. So, this filter claims it should last about a year. And keep in mind, I have been putting this fan through heavy use throughout the year. I have it scheduled throughout the day to go into auto mode or to start blowing during certain times.During the winter, usually any time between 8 to 9, I will have this fan having heat come out until midnight when I have an auto shutoff scheduled. So, yeah, this, believe it or not, has replaced our space heater. It just works so well. And I'm shocked at how well this specific device has worked.In fact, most likely near the end of this year, I'm going to have to buy another Dyson. Not this model, but basically another model that's smaller that could fit somewhere else within my apartment.Again, in terms of the noise level, it's no different from any other fan. I want to say, unless you have something wrong on the inside, this fan is perfectly quiet. This fan does pick up a lot of dust. It's very easy to clean. And again, it just operates wonderfully.Now, I have this fan at the edge of my apartment where my Wi-Fi could reach. And again, it still works wonderfully. If I accidentally leave the heat on and I know I need to turn it off, I could just get on my Dyson app and just completely turn it off.It integrates well with Alexa. Unfortunately, it does not integrate well at all with Siri. And I think it has to do with the United States regulations that you cannot use the smart app to actually schedule heat to turn on. Unfortunately, in the United States, that is now against the law.So if you're not a big fan of that, please call your congressman or your senator's office. Because again, the fact that you could just schedule things is great. Not only that, but it makes it safer. Also, it makes it safe that you could actually turn off your fan at a certain time so you just don't leave it running.Again, this is a wonderful buy. If you're in an apartment, you will appreciate it. Again, it's pricey. Keep that in mind. But it's one of those things everyone in my household just loves. At first, there were complaints because of the price. But again, it's something that has grown on each and every member of my house.So please consider this purchase. It does exactly what you want. And the things it does not do, honestly, you could blame that on your congressman.

The Dyson fan and heater is great, the fan is strong moves the air, I bought in the summer and tried out the heater I'm expecting good results. I like how the remote facing down on top is magnetic It's quiet, sleek design, does the job.

Dyson thought of everything with this purifier. It is pricey but we are going on our second year and use it every night for white noise as well as purification. It is whisper quiet or sufficient white noise that drowns out the highway that runs near by our home.The heat feature is impressive and keeps our 20x20 bedroom warm in fall & winter months.
1.0 out of 5 stars Dyson Customer Service is Horrible
After only a few weeks of having the HP02 it completely died on me. Wouldn't turn on at all. I contact Dyson customer service and they offer to replace it for me - great! But the HP02 was out of stock so they said they would let me know when it was back in stock and would send my replacement. A month goes by with no word so I reach out again. At this point I said I would take one that was cheaper, I just really needed it before my baby was born. Okay sure no problem just send us back the broken purifier and we will send a new one out. The rep I spoke to A MONTH AGO said nothing about sending the old one back. (Looking back I am sure they take them back to refurbish them) but in my mind, the rep never mentioned sending it back so why would I hang onto a dead fan when they told me once it's in stock a replacement would be sent? I threw it in the trash. In this economy I can't afford to just throw away $500 but that's exactly what I had to do. They need to teach their reps to explain the process a bit better to the customer. Most companies do not ask to send back the broken product anymore. Go to their Facebook page and you will see 1,000 reviews just like mine about their customer service and people waiting on replacements for months. I was a die hard Dyson fan with multiple vacuums and purifiers by then but never again.

This is a good fan and circulates the air. Well the heater is decent although it isn’t as warm as other space heaters I’ve used which kind of surprised me. The air purifier is a nice bonus and seems to work well. The one thing that is a bummer is that for some reason this product cannot be controlled remotely when you want to use the heating function. Other features can be controlled remotely via the app, but not the Heater. I guess there’s some law that prevents Dyson from doing that… but this isn’t really made clear in the product listing and I’m not sure how I feel about it. Pretty undecided, whether or not this was worth it for the money. It works well, but costs a fortune.

Bought it originally for allergy relief as an air purifier in our RV. Works wonderfully!But as temperatures changed this season while on the road in our RV we found the cooling and heating functions were spectacular. Exceeds our expectations. Would highly recommend.

Even with central air my upstairs bedroom is difficult to keep cool during heat wave and sleeping next to my teddy bear husband is hot. Dyson to the rescue. Nice cool wave of fresh air has us sleeping well. He has arthritic hands and puts it on heat a few minutes every am to get his hands warmed up. It is quiet too. Worth the price and small space it uses.

Second hand product? I just received the product, it looks ok at the moment but the filter show that is like not brand new. I wait for the seller to see what’s next and I consider to return it and to buy from Rona, Home Depot or Best Buy. At least you could talk with someone about it.
Do not order from 3rd party from Amazon!
I was not satisfied with the product so I requested to return the product but they want me to pay for the shipping to return it and take some percentage of my payment for return. I find that fraudulent! Do not order from 3rd party!
