These are probably the healthiest protein shakes I've found. They're good but not the best tasting. (I go to Premier or Atkins for that.) But the loss in flavor is well worth the increase in healthiness. And there's no temptation to drink too many throughout the day. The only reason these aren't the only protein shakes I choose is they're a bit pricey. But if you can afford them or get them on sale, give them a try.

These taste a bit odd and are very sweet but I like the ingredients. I hate the packaging as they are a pain to open with the strong seal on every bottle. I like the ones I can find at Walmart online in the boxes.

I wanted to like these so badly because of how healthy they are. However, the taste is very earthy and there are slimy chunks inside that make me anxious with every sip. The vanilla is good as creamer in coffee, the chocolate is kind of a gray color, and the peanut butter has a really weird aftertaste. I bought them as part of an Bolo day sale and don’t anticipate paying full price for anymore after I’m done with this box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Gluten and Dairy Free Protein Alternative
I am currently on a weight loss medication and my doctor has instructed me to get a larger amount of protein. I have EOE which requires me to avoid dairy and gluten. I struggled at first to find protein drinks that had a large amount of protein and be dairy free. I stumbled upon these after only finding protein drinks with around 21 grams. I was shocked to find some that had 32 grams. I was a little hesitant at first but, decided to give them a try. Best decision I have made and they are delicious. I do not have any reaction to them and love that they are gluten and dairy free safe. They have the consistency of a milk shake so they are a bit thick so I suggest shaking them up before drinking them. If you have issues with thick drinks this might not be the drink for you. Also, the price is a little high for protein shakes but, since purchasing them I have been able to get my 100 grams of protein. I would highly recommend this product.

We became vegan in June. It's been quite a journey and honestly tough sometimes. Having picky eaters, it's hard to get the essential nutrients into them that they need. I actually saw this brand on a vegan fb page so I thought I'd try it out. Everyone was talkin about how good it tasted. I've purchased a few different brands and we've been going through them SLOWLY because the taste of them is just eww...we gota choke um down. Now with OWYN, that is not the case. I love how there are 3 options for flavors. We all love drinking these. They smell good. They taste good. Just a lil too sweet for me so I water mine down a bit but I'm not begging my girls to choke it down. They happily drink it and take it w them for lunch. I workout and then reach for one of these. So filling.

I decided to try OWYN shakes since they were high in protein, dairy free and gluten free. I also needed something on the go when I don’t have time to make a shake. I bought the mixed case of 12 during Prime Day which consisted of:Vanilla- definitely my least favorite! The taste was horrible. Reminded me of asparagus and was somewhat chunky on top of being thick. Not sure if had gone bad so I’ll try another from the case but I’m not going to force myself to drink it like I did the first one if it tastes that bad again.Chocolate- much better flavor though pretty thick. Had a slight aftertaste but not as bad as the vanilla.No nut butter cup - my favorite! Great taste and much smoother. Definitely will be ordering more of these.
