About this item:
The Victor Power-Kill Mouse Trap is set and released with one simple “click.” The trap is designed with a large trough for easy baiting and the large trip pedal is easily activated – both by rodent interest in food and through accidental contact as mice scamper across the floor. Once a rodent triggers the pedal, the high-impact kill bar immediately springs closed for a quick, humane kill.

5.0 out of 5 stars They work, and are easy to set
These work really well. Easy to bait and set, not much risk of snapping your fingers. Mice are dead immediately.
5.0 out of 5 stars these work!
These snap traps actually work (much better than the original kind) and they are easy to set and easy to dump the mouse without touching them.
5.0 out of 5 stars So Easy!
I was tired of snapping my fingers and having a constant fear when setting the cheap wood traps. These are so easy to set. Living in a farm house with outbuildings mice are a constant battle and these make it much easier. They are well worth a few extra dollars since I never wanted to set the other traps. I have tried many alternative traps and these have the best power and I haven’t noticed any of them with no bait while set. Crumbled up crackers and peanut butter is my go to bait.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works ok, super easy to set
This time of year the mice like to come visit. 1 trap had the cheese gone but he paid the ultimate price on the 2nd trap.
1.0 out of 5 stars Ineffective
I had been using the Tomcat mouse traps with great success. We live in an old farmhouse and get a lot of mice in our kitchen and elsewhere in the house. We caught probably nearly 50 mice over the past year with the Tomcat traps. However, while the description of those are that they are disposable, I usually could get 2-3 uses out of one, but occasionally I got one that wouldn't work at all because the plastic catch was either flawed or broken. So I looked to find something that was just as dependable but reusable so that we could save a little money. These Victor traps are NOT the way to go. Over the past three months of using them, we only caught one mouse. I found evidence of 2-3 other times that a mouse had been partly caught in the trap, but either chewed their way out or somehow otherwise got free—though it probably died elsewhere from its injuries. While I do not want mice in the house, I want something that's going to mean a quick death; I don't like mice, but I certainly do not want them to suffer at all. The Tomcat traps give them a very quick death. The Victor traps do not, IF they successfully trap them at all (and the mice must apparently have to be in a perfect position to be caught just right to mean death). I will not be buying this product again. I threw away three of the traps I had set after the last mishap occurred. I still have three more, but I guess they'll just go in storage or something. Back to the Tomcat traps....
5.0 out of 5 stars Great mouse traps!
Had mice getting into my shed & tearing things up. Baited these with some peanut butter & have caught 3 mice in 3 days. They are simple to set up, seem to kill the mice quickly and, most importantly, easy to dispose of the dead mouse from the trap without touching it.
3.0 out of 5 stars Great...when they work.
I really like how easy these are to set, and when you catch one it's really easy to remove the mouse without accidentally touching it. Unfortunately they're not as sensitive as traditional traps. I set 4 traps with cheese and the moose (mice?) cleaned out all 4 without setting out even 1. I reset them with peanut butter, thinking they'd have to work harder and therefore set off the trip, and it looks like all 4 have had at least some of the peanut butter eaten. I'm not sure why they're not catching anything, but I've caught several with these traps. They work, but they're just not as sensitive as I'd like. Also, pro tip: place the traps on a solid surface before setting them. The latch doesn't seem to catch if you set it while holding it in your hand.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and they work
These are so easy to set. I love the design. Put your bait of choice in and get rid of your rodents.
