The media could not be loaded. With an expensive Hexclad pan, you kind of need to commit to go all the way with the investment. Is it a good value for the money? It might be considered expensive for a piece of glass and metal, but it is just as solid and nice in build as the pan is. Which means it is rather hefty in weight. It also fits like a glove. My pan is an 8-inch, so is this lid. Works fine and doesn’t get too hot, but maybe use an oven mitt just in case.

Even though I measured my pot, the rim on the lid won't fit inside of the rim.Fits great on my frying pan, so ai kept it.

Exceed expectation
Love them. So easy to clean and it’s non stick as long as it’s not over heated. My husband likes to use ‘hi’ heat for everything. He normally will burn the non-stick pan after a few uses. This pan passed the ‘husband’ test. Clean it properly and season it again after each abuse, it looks just like new after each treatment.Highly recommend.
Solid But...
I feel a bit miffed that this was not already included as part of the 25cm wok I bought - fits well and does the job however. Hopefully the last one I need to buy!

Good Quality...Works Well!.. Price is an Issue!
I want to preface this by saying that I really like this "Hexclad" branded 10inch Cooking Lid. I want to also clarify that I am not actually using this with a Hexclad branded pot, but with some of my other current pots and pans and it fits well. However, at the time I originally acquired this product the price was set at $51.85. Now, at the time of me writing this the only available price was a staggering $102.28!? I can only assume that this is because it is temporarily not in stock from the original seller and all that remains is a third party listing? Hopefully this situation will correct itself. In any event, my review for the Hexclad 10" lid follows...This product arrived in good condition in its Bolo shipping box. On inspecting the product I was struck by its very good quality constrction. The steel looks very nice and is blemish free in the unit I received. The welds on the sides are clean and the glass top fits quite well. The glass is good quality and offers good transparency. Overall, this looks and feels like a premium quality cooking product. It has a simple design, but has an elegant look about it.In actual use the 10" Hexclad Lid ended up fitting well with two different brands of 10" pots/pans I own and this have been performing very well in the last few weeks of my use with it. I will note that while the top handle is sturdy, it is also metal so you should always be wary of if being hot while you are cooking. I can usuallly handle it with fingers just fine, but there are times where I need a cloth or small towel when doing so.Overall, I am happy with this Hexclad lid. It is well made, looks great and it is more than durable for its intended daily tasks. I really appreciate being able to see what is going on with my meal without having to constantly life an opaque lid. At the ORIGINAL listing price of $51.85, while a bit pricey, I feel this was still reasonable for what you are getting here. This is a higher end product and if you currently own Hexclad pots or pans this will be a perfect match.. both cosmetically in style as well as in form and function.I recommend this at the ORIGINAL listing price....But, I do NOT at the current $102.28!
Excellent cookware lid
These HexClad lid are on the expensive side but boy are they well made. There are no hard edges anywhere on the lid and the one seam is welded and finished smooth to perfection. You can see it and slightly feel it, but there is no chance it will open up, cause cuts, or allow infiltration from it.The glass is thick and heavy with excellent clarity. It fits 10 inch pots and pans very well irrelevant of the brand, and is just generally speaking a very well made lid where the price is somewhat self-explanatory when you see and handle it.The only one downside of course is that this thing is made to last and there are no use of plastic, rubber or wood anywhere. This means that there are no real insulating materials on the lid itself, so while I find the handle is generally speaking perfectly fine to handle during cooking, if you find it too hot it's worth noting that you might want to consider using a towel or oven mitts for handling. It'll handle well too as the handle is large enough to accommodate.Overall an excellent product, you just pay for the quality but it'll last forever as long as no accidents befall it.
